DME Chhattisgarh notifies combined round 1, 2 NEET PG counselling, choice filling to end on January 26th

Chhattisgarh: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chhattisgarh, has announced that the combined counselling process for the first and second rounds of the NEET PG 2025 MD and MS admissions under the State Quota will be conducted together.
According to the notification issued by the DME Chhattisgarh in this regard, the counselling decision has been taken after completion of two rounds of All India Quota counselling and in line with the revised timelines issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The state authority clarified that Round 2 counselling will be held in a combined manner, and candidates will also be given the option to participate in upgradation during the third round.
Therefore, the eligible candidates can submit online applications and fill out their choices. As per the schedule, the online application has already started and the last date of the online application is 25 January 2026 at 11:59 PM. Along with this, the Choice filling and locking has also been started from 23 January 2026 (12:00 noon) and will end on 26 January 2026, 11:59 PM.
Candidates have been advised to carefully read the Chhattisgarh Medical Postgraduate Admission Rules, 2025 (amended up to 22 January 2026) before participating in the counselling process.
The notice also outlines the following fee structure-
1 Non-refundable application fee
i ₹2,000 for all categories.
ii ₹10,000 for NRI candidates.
3 Security Deposit (Refundable)-
i Government Medical Colleges-
a UR – ₹25,000.
b SC/ST/OBC – ₹12,500.
ii Private Medical Colleges (including NRI seats)-
a 2,00,000 for all categories.
However, the security deposit will be forfeited if a candidate is allotted a seat in this or any subsequent round and fails to join or resigns after admission.
