DME Chhattisgarh Notifies On Edit Option for NEET PG Counselling 2024
Chhattisgarh- Through a notice, the Director of Medical Education (DME) Chhattisgarh, has informed important information regarding the edit option given in the online registration form to the candidates appearing in the counselling of National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) MD and MS for the academic session 2024-25.
As per the notice, all the candidates joining the medical postgraduate (MD/MS) course of Chhattisgarh state are informed that the candidates must select the edit option given in the online registration form in the counselling of NEET MD / MS academic session 2024-25 to keep the following points in mind-
1 If a candidate selects the edit option and subsequently leaves the Application Form incomplete, he/she will be considered out of the counselling process.
2 If a candidate changes his/her Category or Quota in the Edit option, then he/she will be required to pay the additional fee for the Category or Quota, failing which they will be liable for will be considered out of the counselling process.
EXAMPLE
1 If an OBC candidate wants to apply in UR, he will have to pay the fee for the unreserved category.
2 If a candidate who has applied to a Govt College wants to apply to a Private College, he/she will have to pay the fee of the Private College.
3. As soon as the candidate selects the edit option, the institute choice filled earlier by him will become void and he will have to select the institute again. The facility of edit option in the application will be available till the last date of registration.
4 Therefore, the candidates appearing for the medical postgraduate (MD/MS) course of Chhattisgarh state in the admission year - 2024 should ensure to follow all the above instructions so that they do not face any kind of inconvenience in the counselling process.
