DME Tripura Invites Application For NEET PG Special Stray Vacancy Round, details

Tripura: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tripura) has invited applications for the NEET PG special stray vacancy round.

For fresh candidates (only those who have not registered in earlier rounds} application should be physically submitted in the prescribed format (attached below) with all copies of relevant documents with original Draft/original counter foil of Bank Deposit against registration fees at the office of Directorate of Medical Education at Bidurkarta Chowmuhani, Agartala on or before 27/11/2023, 5 pm shall be deemed as Registration for Special Stray Vacancy Round.

The Special Stray Vacancy Round will be held offline in continuation with the earlier four rounds of Tripura State NEET PG 2023 counseling consisting of the same basic eligibility criteria guidelines as published on the DME website earlier in this regard. The qualifying percentile for NEET PG 2023 counseling is set to "ZERO" as per the notice issued by MCC on 20/09/2023. This is as per the direction of DDG(ME), MoHFW, Government of India for the larger interest of candidates and to prevent wastage of precious medical seats and will be the last round for PG courses for the academic year 2023.

Registration fee –

1. General, General-FEWS, OBC (Domicile) – Rs 8000

2. ST, SC, PwBD & OBC (Non-Domicile) – Rs 7000

Registration fees shall have to be paid only by fresh eligible candidates (not registered in Round 1, 2, 3, and Stary Vacancy Round). Other eligible candidates registered in the previous round intending to participate in this Special Stray Vacancy Round shall have to submit the application from duly filled in with copies of all supportive documents within the scheduled date like fresh candidates, but the registration fees will not be applicable to the earlier registered candidates.

The demand draft shall have to be payable in favor of the "Directorate of Medical Education" from any nationalized bank, Preferably SBI. The bank details are enclosed in the notice below.

Candidates who are not holding any seat either in the All India Quota or State Quota are eligible to participate in the Special Stray Vacancy Round. However, candidates who did not join their seats allotted through MCC or State Round-3 onwards are Not Eligible' to participate.

The counseling will be done only offline. The last date of admission will be 30th November 2023. There will be no upgradation from previous rounds. It may also be noted that the Special Stray Vacancy Round is not an upgrade Round. Joined candidates of earlier rounds will not be given the chance to upgrade.

All the candidates shall have to bring all the original certificates on the day of the offline counseling and shall have to produce before the counseling committee when and if called for, debarring which the allotment shall not be considered.

There will not be any surrender of an allotted seat in the Special Stray Vacancy Round. In the event of non-joining of allotted seat or surrender, if it occurs, elimination and debarment from taking participation in the counseling for next year may be applicable. The security deposit of the candidate (if any) in such non-joining or surrender will be forfeited along with.

Reporting should be done by the candidates who have been allotted a seat at the office of the Directorate of Medical Education at Bidurkarta Chowmohani, Agartala is scheduled on 28/11/2023 after completion of the counseling.

Nomination will be issued from 28/11/2023 to 29/11/2023 up to 5 pm to the intending allotted candidates.

Admission of nominated candidates following physical verification of original documents, which will be conducted in the admitting Institution, is scheduled from 29/11/2023 to 30/11/2023 up to 5 pm. The allotted candidates seeking admission shall have to execute and submit the necessary applicable bond (Service bond before getting nomination and Discontinuation bond during admission). The last date of joining to a Special Stray Vacancy Round allotted and nominated seat is on 30/11/2023 up to 5 pm.

Seats vacant –

5 seats are vacant for a special stray vacancy round. Anatomy has 2 seats, Physiology has 1 seat, and Pharmacology has 2 seats vacant.
