GGSIPU extends round 1 MBBS admission schedule

New Delhi: The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has issued an extended schedule for activities following the declaration of the Round 1 result for MBBS admissions for the academic session 2026-27.
The revised timeline covers payment of the part academic fee, submission of willingness, verification of documents, printing of the provisional seat allotment, reporting to the allotted institute and withdrawal of admission.
According to the extended schedule, the deadline for submitting willingness has been fixed till today, i.e. August 31, 2026 at 10 am. The verification process will be carried out by the university and must also be completed by August 31, 2026 at 11:59 pm.
After successful verification of documents, candidates will be able to print their provisional seat allotment letter, with the facility remaining available till September 3, 2026, at 2 pm.
Candidates who have been allotted seats will have to physically report to their respective allotted institutes between September 1 and September 3, 2026. The final deadline for reporting has been fixed at 4 pm on September 3. However, reporting is mandatory for seat confirmation and also to become eligible for further rounds of online counselling.
Candidates intending to withdraw from the allotted seat can do so up to September 5, 2026 at 11:59 pm. Below is the detailed schedule-
