Gujarat NEET Counselling 2026 Round 3 registrations open till September 30, check details

As per the advertisement released by the ACPUGMEC in this regard, the process covers admissions to first-year undergraduate medical and dental courses in government and self-financed colleges in Gujarat. Eligible NEET UG 2026 candidates who did not register in Round 1 or Round 2 can participate in the third round.

Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 2 but did not confirm their admission and exited with forfeiture of the refundable security deposit are also eligible to register.

The online registration process has started. Candidates can purchase the online PIN until 12 noon on September 30, while the deadline to complete online registration is 4:00 pm on September 30.

GUJARAT NEET UG ROUND 3 SCHEDULE

Candidates registering for Round 3 can purchase the online PIN by paying a total of Rs 11,000. This comprises a Rs 1,000 non-refundable amount and a Rs 10,000 refundable security deposit.

However, candidates who had already purchased an online PIN for Rs 11,000 during Round 1 or Round 2 but did not complete online registration or document verification and submission at the Help Centre do not need to purchase the PIN again. They only need to complete document verification and submit photocopies of the required documents at the Help Centre.

After completing online registration, candidates must take a prior appointment for document verification and submission of self-attested photocopies at a Help Centre. Candidates can select their preferred date and Help Centre while printing the registration slip.

Help Centres will operate from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and from 10:00 am to 12 noon on Saturdays. They will remain closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Candidates seeking Local Quota seats at Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad, or Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education & Research (SMIMER), Surat, need to complete an additional requirement.

Apart from online registration, they must obtain a certificate from the Dean of the respective institution confirming that they are a local student of Ahmedabad or Surat, as applicable.

For NRI candidates, after completing the online application, a Demand Draft of Rs 10,000 in favour of “ACPUGMEC”, payable at Gandhinagar, has to be submitted as a processing fee at the ACPUGMEC office, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar.

Meanwhile, candidates who have already confirmed their admission in Round 1 or Round 2 and wish to cancel it can do so at the Help Centres from September 26 until 4:00 pm on October 1, 2026.

ACPUGMEC has advised candidates to regularly check the Gujarat medical admission website for detailed instructions and subsequent updates regarding the admission process.

PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION CANCELLATION

1 Candidates who have confirmed their admission after submitting the original documents at the Help Center, want to cancel the admission, they will have to go to the admission-reporting Help Center, in-person.

2 The same seat will also be available to such candidates for the subsequent round of admission and candidates can take part in the subsequent round of counselling.

3 If the candidate cannot come for some reason, the parents/representatives must bring the “Authority Letter” signed by the candidate to the Help Centre. Without the Authority Letter, parents/ representatives won’t be able to collect the documents. The authority letter is available on page 2 of this document.

4 The candidates have to submit the following documents and then can collect the original documents-

i An application to cancel the admission.

ii Original admission order of ACPPGMEC.

iii Fee receipt/ challan - Xerox copy.

iv Self-attested Xerox copy of Allotment Letter of All India Quota/ Deemed/ Central Universities / Other State Counselling OR application for cancellation if not admitted anywhere.

v ID Proof - Xerox copy.

vi Authority letter (In case parents/representatives want to collect the documents).

5 Fees will be adjusted if the candidate takes admission in the 3rd round.

6 Fees will be refunded after completion of the admission process if the candidate does not take any admission.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE APPLICATION AND REGISTRATION

STEP 1

Purchase PIN through the website by online payment of Rs.1000/- (non-refundable) + Rs.10,000 (Refundable Security Deposit) = Total Rs.11,000/-.

STEP 2

i After purchase of PIN, the candidate has to register & upload required documents through the website.

ii After completion of registration, take a printout of the Registration details.

iii The candidate has to take a prior appointment for the Document Verification and Submission of photocopies of Documents at the Help Centre. Candidate, himself/herself, can select the Date, time slot and Help Centre for Document Verification at the time of printing the Registration details.

STEP 3

i Visit the appointed help centre with original documents. Attach self-attested copies of required documents with Registration details and submit to the Help Centre.

ii The candidate has to get the ‘Registration Acknowledgement Slip’ duly signed by the nodal officer of the respective help centre to complete his registration process.

iii The candidate applying for the NRI Quota, document verification and submission will be done only at the Office of ACPUGMEC, Ground Floor, GMERS Medical College, Civil Hospital Campus, Gandhinagar–382016, Gujarat. They have to submit a Demand Draft of Rs. 10,000/- (Non-Refundable) in favour of “ACPUGMEC”, payable at Gandhinagar, as a processing fee at the Office of ACPUGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar, only at the time of document verification and submission.

STEP 4

i A merit list will be prepared as per the admission rules and published on the official website of ACPUGMEC.

ii Detailed program for online counselling, seat matrix and fee structure will be announced in due course on the website.
