Puducherry: Stray round of counselling for the vacant seats of INI CET January 2023 (MD/MS/MDS/M.Ch (6-year integrated)) courses will be conducted on 27.2.2023. Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has announced this through a written notice.

This round is conducted for the vacant seats of MD/MS/MDS/M.Ch (6-year integrated) courses at JIPMER, Puducherry, for the candidates who have qualified through the INI-CET entrance examination conducted by AIIMS Delhi on 13.11.2023 and fulfil all the eligibility criteria as per INI-CET Prospectus. The round will be conducted at JAC Mini Auditorium, 4th floor, JAC Building, JIPMER. Eligible candidates interested in participating in a stray round of counselling should report in person with all original certificates.

Candidates should report on 27.2.2023 from 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM for certificate verification and subsequent counselling. Candidates reporting afternoon will not be permitted for counselling.

A total of 26 seats are available for this round. Of these 26 seats, 24 are general seats, 1 is a foreign national / OCI seat, and one seat is sponsored seat. The detailed seat matrix is enclosed in the notice below.

Eligibility -

1. Candidates who have appeared in INI-CET for the January 2023 session held on 13th November 2022 and obtained the following percentile will be deemed to be provisionally eligible (subject to other criteria) to participate in the Stray round of counselling - Unreserved (UR)/EWS/Foreign National/OCI/Sponsored - 50th percentile, OBC, SC, ST, PwBD - 45th percentile.

2. The Sponsored & Foreign National/OCI candidates are eligible to participate in the Stray round of counselling (Please refer to INI-CET Prospectus Part-B, JIPMER, Puducherry for eligibility).

3. All the provisionally deemed eligible candidates who wish to participate must report in person at the venue with original Certificates as per the scheduled date & time. There is no provision for participation in counselling other than in person.

4. Any candidate holding any seat elsewhere shall not be eligible to participate.

5. Seats will be offered in the order of merit among the present candidates as per INI-CET communication for the Stray round.

On the day of counselling, i.e. on 27.02.2023, candidates must show a print of their INI-CET rank at the registration desk. After the original certificate verification, the certificates would be returned to the candidates. Candidates would then be allowed to leave the hall and have lunch during this break.

Eligible candidates who have completed their certificate verification should come back to the counselling hall at 2:00 PM to participate in the counselling. The counselling process will start from 2.00 PM onwards.

The candidate will be called for certificate verification inside the hall. Please keep the documents in the order mentioned below -

1. INI-CET Score Card

2. INI-CET Final Registration Slip

3. Downloaded Hall Ticket

4. MBBS Degree / Provisional Pass Certificate

5. MBBS Mark Statement

6. CRRI / Internship Completion Certificate (Internship should complete on or before 31.12.2022)

7. Permanent /Provisional Medical Registration Certificate of MBBS Course

8. Conduct / Character Certificate from the Institute last studied

9. Transfer / Migration Certificate from the Institute last studied

10. Date of Birth / S.S.L.C. Certificate showing the date of birth

11. Residence Certificate/ Nativity Certificate /Aadhar/Passport/Driving License

12. Photocopies of all Original Certificates

13. COVID – 19 Vaccination Certificate

14. Passport size colour photo – 4 Nos.

Counselling procedure -

1. During counselling, candidates' names will be called based on their INI-CET rank. Depending on the vacancy/vacancies, candidates can Opt-in for any available seat or Opt-out of the counselling.

2. After allocating the seats on the day of counselling, medical Examination and subsequent admission, the candidates have to make NDHM Registration, filling the JIPMER e-form, academic fee payment and Agreement on the following day, i.e., on 28.02.2023.

Tasks to be completed by the candidates who have been allotted seats in a stray round of counselling before reaching the venue on 28.02.2023 –

Fill out the JIPMER e-form by clicking the link, and the printout should be brought upon completion. https://www.digialm.com//EForms/configuredHtml/827/68596/application.html (Note: Name should be filled as given in MBBS degree certificate)

Complete the fee payment procedure through the SBI Collect payment portal for JIPMER at https://www.onlinesbi.com/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm?corpID=362853. Choose Academic fee – MCh DM MD MS PDF in the drop menu. Then you have to provide the details of payment mentioned below

The fee, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances. Bring a hard copy of the fee payment receipt on the reporting day.

Mandatory Registration in NDHM / ABDM -

Healthcare Professional ID Registration is mandatory for all newly joined Junior Residents.

Steps for Registration in NDHM / ABDM -

Step 1: Click the below mentioned link to Register 'Professional Healthcare ID' https://hprid.ndhm.gov.in/

Step 2: Click on 'Create Your Healthcare Professional ID now'. Step 3: Click on 'I am Healthcare Professional'.

Step 4: Click on 'Generate via Aadhaar'. Step 5: Enter your Aadhaar Number.

Step 6: Click 'I agree' & Click on 'Submit'.

Step 7: You will get six digits 'OTP' to your Aadhaar Registered Mobile Number. Step 8: Enter the OTP and Click 'Login'.

Step 9: After logging in, enter your Mobile Number.

Step 10: You will get a 6-digit 'OTP' on your mobile number again. Step 11: Enter OTP & Click on Login.

Step 12: After logging in, create your 'User Name' & 'Password' (Password must be eight characters, Upper case, lower case, Alphanumeric & Special character).

Step 13: Select 'I am Healthcare Professional'. Step 14: Select 'Modern Medicine'.

Step 15: Enter your email address & Click on 'submit'.

Step 16: After Submitting, you will get OTP on your email for verification; after verification, your Registration will be completed, and you will receive a 14-digit Professional Healthcare ID number & NDHM Registration ID (ex: gogineni@hpr.abdm.com), take a printout of this page and submit the same at the time of document verification.

Forms are to be printed, filled, and brought to the venue on 28.02.2023 -

1. ID card form – all the fields should be filled and in block letters (Annexure-1)

2. Joining letter (Annexure-2)

3. Joining report format (Annexure-3)

4. Hostel application form (if applicable) (Annexure-4)

5. Honor Code (Annexure-5)

6. Biodata Proforma (Annexure-6)

After successful certificate verification, you will be given a form for Medical Examination by the team. Medical Board will be available in Exam Hall No:1, Third Floor (Room number 201), JIPMER Academic Centre (JAC) building. The duly signed Medical Examination report should be submitted to the admission team.

Submission of agreement document -

A PDF version of the agreement (Refer to Attachment) will be sent to you on the registered email ID. You will have to purchase a minimum of 10 rupees of stamp paper or e-stamp paper by your name, and the content emailed to you should be printed on the stamp paper. The agreement should get Notary public signature and seal. The agreement's content, as given to you, should not be modified under any circumstances. The signed document should be submitted to the admission team.

The candidates should not fill/write anything on the agreement form except their Name and Father's Name. Page No. 1 – 5 should get signed by Notary Public, and the date of the agreement should be filled in on the day of reporting.

The following will be issued to the candidate after completing document verification and Medical Examination - a Bonafide certificate (certifying that the institute retains the original documents), Admission order.

Submit the Hostel application form (if needed). Candidates can avail hostel facility from 28.02.2023 onwards (Subject to availability). The filled-in letter and joining report forms should be submitted to the department office immediately. The department will return the joining report later through the proper channel.
