KEA Extends Registration Deadline for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH Admissions 2025

Karnataka- The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the registration date for Admission to MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Unani and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) degree courses for the academic year 2025 in the State of Karnataka. Earlier, it was scheduled till 10th July 2025.
As per the notice issued by the KEA, in this regard, on the request of the candidates, a final chance is provided for online registration in KEA to the candidates who have qualified in UGNEET-2025 but have not registered till now in KEA for admission to Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses.
Hence, the UGNEET-2025 qualified candidates who have not registered till now can register online, submit the application and pay the fees on or before 11.00 am on 17 July 2025 by selecting the "UGNEET-2025 new registration" link in the KEA portal. With this, there will be no further extension of the date/time provided to register online for admission to medical, dental and Ayush courses.
UGCET-2025 registered candidates can also link their UGNEET-2025 Roll Number if they have not entered their roll number for admission to Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses.
Meanwhile, the registration fee for Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2025 is Rs 2,500 for the general category, Rs 500 for SC, ST and PWD candidates, while NRI, OCI and foreign nationals will have to pay Rs 5,000. KEA will allot seats based on the choices filled by the candidates, reservation criteria, seat matrix, NEET rank and marks.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) recently released the schedule of the National Eligibility-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2025 Examination for the All India Quota and State Quota seats.
As per the schedule, the counselling for the students who qualified the UG medical entrance test shall commence on 21st July for the All India Quota/Deemed/Central Universities seats, whereas the State counselling shall commence on 30th July, 2025. MCC has announced that the academic session for the UG courses shall commence on 1st September, 2025.
MCC will soon activate the registration window at its official website. Currently, MCC has released the counselling schedule for three rounds of State and AIQ counselling as well as the schedule for a stray vacancy round. Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that this year, the results for the NEET UG 2025 exam were declared on June 14, 2025.
