KGMU Releases SOP for MD, MS Admissions 2024
Uttar Pradesh- King George's Medical University (KGMU) has released the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for candidates regarding admission to MD and MS courses for the academic year 2024.
As per the SOP, all candidates allotted MD and MS courses through the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 at KGMU must report at the Kalam Centre with the required documents for verification and admission within the specified time frame. Candidates must ensure that all the documents are complete and accurate.
The following documents need to be brought for verification and admission-
1 Admit Card (NEET-PG 2024)
2 FEET Scorecard (NEET-PG 2024)
3 Allotment Letter (NEET-PG 2024)
4 Copy of Aadhar Card
5 Copy of PAN Card
6 MBBS Degree Certificate
7 MBBS Mark Sheets (all professional years)
8 Internship Completion Certificate
9 Medical Council Registration Certificate
10 High School Mark Sheet and Certificate
11 Intermediate Mark Sheet and Certificate
12 Category Certificate (if applicable)
13 Sub-Category Certificate (if applicable)
14 Recent passport-sized photographs (12) with a white background
15 Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate
16 Character Certificate
17 Domicile Certificate (if applicable)
18 Relieving Letter (if applicable)
Candidates have to register on the Samarth portal and pay the admission fee through credit card, debit card and UPI only. However, no other mode of payment will be accepted.
PROCESS ON SAMARTH PORTAL
1 Visit the portal which is mentioned on the SOP, and complete the New Registration.
2 After registration, log in to the portal, fill out the required form and upload the following:
i Photo
ii Signature
iii ID Card
iv NEET Scorecard
3 During the course selection-
i Candidates allotted MD courses should select Postmaster Programmes and choose their subject, then submit.
ii Candidates allotted MS courses should select Master (Post-Graduate Programmes) and choose their subject, then submit.
With this, the online admission will be confirmed after completing all formalities, including reporting, verification, and fee payment.
