KNRUHS notifies on Web Options window For Phase 2 Counselling of NEET PG admissions Under Management Quota, details

Telangana: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has opened the window for exercising web options for second-phase counseling of PG Medical Degree / Diploma admissions under the management quota. The vacant seat details have also been released.

All the eligible candidates can exercise web options up to 2:00 PM on 04-10-2023. As per the candidate’s registration and eligibility for MQ-1, and MQ-2 (NRI) categories, Candidates will have to exercise web options for the Post Graduate Medical seats as per their priority, and allotments will be done accordingly.

The candidates whose online uploaded certificates were provisionally verified and whose names are notified in the provisional final merit list for PG Medical Admissions on the website of KNRUHS Warangal on 01.10.2023 are eligible to exercise web - options online from the computer with an internet connection subject to the following conditions –

1. The candidates who were allotted seats in the first phase of counseling and have not reported/discontinued the course at the respective college are not eligible for exercising options.

2. Candidates who have not exercised web options in the first phase of counseling are also not eligible to exercise web options in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.107& 108, HM&FW(C1) Department, Dated: 22-08-2022.

3. The candidates who were allotted PG seats in the first phase of counseling and joined the course are also eligible to exercise web options and are informed to exercise web options.

The candidates note that they will be considered only for the category/categories to which they have registered. There is no limit to choices (number) for exercising web options, candidates can exercise options for any number of subjects and colleges the candidate is interested in joining as per eligibility and registration.

Management Quota MQ-1 & MQ-2 (NRI) seats in Minority Medical Colleges will be allotted to Muslim Minority Candidates only. If Muslim Minority Candidates are not available, the seats will be allotted to Non-Muslim Minority Candidates in the Last Phase of Counseling. Muslim Minority Candidates are also eligible for Management Quota seats in other Medical Colleges.

Candidates are advised to exercise web options for PG seats in all courses and colleges in which they are interested in joining, irrespective of available seats shown in the seat matrix, as vacancies will arise during counseling process due to the sliding of candidates from allotted seats in the first phase of counseling to other seats as per their web options in the second phase of counseling and vacant unallotted service seats.

If a PG seat is allotted in this phase of counseling as per web options exercised by the candidate in this phase of counseling, the seat allotted in 1st phase of counseling will be automatically canceled and allotted to the other candidate. Therefore, the candidates are informed to exercise web options carefully for sliding with awareness of this fact.

One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile at the time of saving web options. The password consists of SIX letter code with English capitals A to Z. Candidates must take a printout of saved options. Candidates will receive an SMS message on their registered mobile after the allotment of a seat if allotted. Candidates are also directed to check their allotment status on the portal/website.

Candidates have to exercise options for MQ1 and, if eligible, for MQ2 (NRI) in order of priority for course and college. Allotments will be made according to the order of preference in the web options exercised by the candidate. Candidates have to exercise options very carefully as per their priority.

Candidates note that if they exercise web- options for a seat and are allotted a seat as per their choice in the web counseling and if they do not join the course at the allotted college, then they will not be eligible for exercising web - options for subsequent rounds of counseling to prevent seat blocking.

The selected candidates shall download the allotment letter from the website after payment of the University fee by payment gateway by using the Online payment method. (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking). Candidates should check their allotment details and report to the Principal of their respective college on or before the last date specified on the allotment letter.

Selected candidates have to report at the respective colleges before the last date for joining as specified on the allotment letter, submit all original certificates and the relevant bonds, and pay the tuition fee/college fee to complete the process of admission. If the candidate does not fulfill the above criteria to complete the admission process within the specified date, the admission will be canceled automatically.

If the candidate slides to another college during the second phase of counseling, the original certificates will be sent to the college concerned after the closure of admissions. Candidates have to get relieved from first phase joined college, obtain custodian certificate, collect fees, and report to the allotted college before last date of joining.

The final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the allotted college, and in case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be canceled, and action may be initiated as per University Regulations. Candidates allotted seats under NRI Quota should produce the relevant sponsorship letter from an NRI relative in Original, along with a copy of their passport/ Residence Proof/Bank Statement or passbook of sponsor for the NRI Category at respective colleges.

Original certificates will not be returned to the candidate unless the candidate discontinues the course or slides to another college during the subsequent phase of counseling. Candidates admitted up to 2nd phase shall be permitted for upgradation up to the mop-up phase of counseling. The candidate is now allowed to exercise web options for the mop-up phase of counseling. They will not be allowed to participate in any further rounds of counseling after joining in the Third Round of State Quota.

University fee –

Allotted candidates have to pay the following University fee through the payment gateway for downloading the allotment order. Candidates who have paid University fees in the first phase need not pay again.

1. MQ 1 Management Quota sub-category 1 - Rs. 49600

2. MQ2 (NRI) & MQ3 (Institutional Quota) - Rs. 69600

Tuition fee –

Tuition fee is to be paid at respective Medical colleges. The tuition fee payable shall be as notified by the Government of Telangana orders and as per relevant Hon’ble High Court orders.

Seats vacant –

377 seats are vacant for the second phase of counseling of PG Medical Degree / Diploma admissions under the management quota. The college-wise detailed seat matrix is enclosed in the notice below.
