KNRUHS to close web options for MBBS, BDS management quota seats 2025, details

KNRUHS Begins Phase-1 Web Counseling for MBBS Admissions.

Telangana- The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) is conducting the first phase of web-based counselling under Management Quota, i.e. B & C/NRI Category for admission into MBBS and BDS courses for the AY 2025-26 in affiliated Private Medical/Dental Colleges, Army College of Dental Sciences & Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences affiliated to Anurag University.

According to the notification issued by the KNRUHS in this regard, all the eligible candidates whose names are displayed in the final merit list of Management Quota on KNRUHS official website can exercise web options for admission into MBBS and BDS courses from 03:00 PM on 22 September 2025 till tomorrow i.e. 24 September 2025, 02:00 PM as per the candidate’s registration and eligibility for B & C/NRI categories.

UNIVERSITY FEE

Allotted candidates must pay the following University fee through the payment gateway using the Online payment method. (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking) and download the allotment order.

IMPORTANT NOTE

1 The details of the seats available are placed on the website. Candidates can exercise web options for MBBS/BDS seats in all Medical/Dental Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS and Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences.

2 In the Management Quota B category, 85% of seats are reserved for local candidates of Telangana and 15% of seats are open to candidates from all over the country. 15% unreserved seats shall be allotted first, followed by seats reserved for local candidates in Management Quota B Category seats.

3 Candidates are informed that they will be considered only for the category/categories to which they have registered. (B& C/NRI).

4 Candidates in the final merit list are informed that if they do not exercise web options in the first phase of counselling, they are not eligible to exercise web options in subsequent phases of counselling to prevent seat blocking.

5 Candidates are informed that if they exercise web-options for a seat and are allotted an MBBS/BDS seat as per their choice in the web-counselling and if they do not join the course at the allotted college, they will not be eligible for exercising web-options for subsequent rounds of counselling.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

1 Eligible NEET-UG-2025 qualified candidates as per the final merit list for Management Quota can exercise web options for MBBS/BDS courses in the affiliated Medical/Dental colleges of KNRUHS and Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences as per their interest and priority from a computer with internet connection.

2 Candidates are advised to go through the Prospectus for the Regulations for admission into MBBS/BDS courses and Government Orders on Rules of Admission on the KNRUHS website before exercising web-options.

3 If a candidate is allotted a seat in the MBBS/BDS course as per his/her options and does not join the course, they shall not be permitted to exercise web options in subsequent phases of counselling to prevent seat blocking.

4 Candidates exercising web-options for MBBS/BDS courses are informed that there is no limit of choices (number) for exercising web-options. Candidates can exercise web options for any number of courses/colleges the candidate is interested in joining, as per the candidate’s eligibility (B & C/NRI category), in order of preference.

5 Candidates in the final merit list are informed that if they do not exercise web options in the first phase of counselling, they are not eligible to exercise web options in subsequent phases of counselling to prevent seat blocking.

6 Management Quota seats (B & C/NRI) in Private Minority Medical Colleges are reserved for Muslim Minority candidates only. In case Muslim Minority Candidates are not available, the seats may be filled with Non-Minority students up to a maximum of 30% during the final phase of counselling.

7 Allotment of Management Quota seats in Army College of Dental Sciences is reserved for the wards of Army personnel as per AWES regulations.

8 Candidates have to exercise options for the B category and if eligible for C/NRI, in order of their priority for course and college. Allotments will be made according to the order of preference in the web options exercised by the candidate.

9 One-time password will be sent to the registered mobile number at the time of exercising web options. The password consists of a six-letter code with English capital letters A to Z.

10. Candidates are instructed to take a printout of saved options.

11. Candidates will receive an SMS message on their registered mobile after allotment of a seat, if allotted. Candidates are also informed to log in to check their allotment status on the website after each phase of counselling.

12. The selected candidates shall download the allotment order from the website after payment of the University fee by the gateway method by using the online payment method. Candidates should check their allotment and report to the Principal of the respective Medical/Dental College on or before the date specified on the allotment order.

13 Selected candidates have to report to the Principal of the respective Medical/Dental College before the last date for joining as specified on the allotment order, submit all original certificates, relevant bonds and pay the tuition fee/college fee to complete the process of admission. If the candidate does not fulfil the above criteria to complete the admission process within the specified date for joining, the admission will be cancelled automatically and the candidate's options shall not be considered for subsequent phases of counselling to prevent seat blocking.

14 Candidates are hereby informed that final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the allotted Medical/Dental College and in case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be cancelled and action may be initiated as per University regulations.

15 Candidates allotted a seat under the NRI quota should produce the relevant sponsorship letter from an NRI relative in original along with a copy of Passport/Residence proof/Bank Statement or Passbook of the sponsor for the NRI category at the respective colleges.

16 Original certificates submitted at the time of admission shall not be returned to the candidate, unless the candidate discontinues the course.

17 Admitted candidates will have to pay a discontinuation penalty amount of Rs. 20 lakhs as per Government orders, if they discontinue the course after the second phase of counselling to get back their original certificates.

18. The University fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

Meanwhile, the KNRUHS Telangana has published the final merit list of candidates for admission into MBBS and BDS courses under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2025-26. The list was issued after resolving grievances submitted against the earlier provisional list.

The final merit list comprises thousands of NEET-UG 2025 qualified candidates whose certificates have been verified. The list also incorporates candidates from all categories, including SC, ST, BC, EWS, CAP, PWD, and minority quotas.

Meanwhile, the final merit list does not guarantee admission. Seat allotments will be made based on web options exercised by candidates, seat availability, and reservation rules. The next step will be the publication of the seat matrix, followed by the first phase of counselling.
