MBBS Admission 2023: Here are Top Medical Colleges in Jharkhand
Jharkhand: Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) conducts the counselling process based on NEET UG scores for MBBS admission in govt and private institutes in the state.
Only those candidates who qualify for NEET 2023 will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. The counseling process is carried out in an online way. All the important processes in the counseling, such as counseling registration, choice-filling, locking, issue of the provisional and final results, and document uploading, will be carried out online.
A merit list is prepared once the application process is over. The candidates whose names are on the merit list are only eligible for the counselling process. The seats are allocated based on the NEET scorecard, choices filled, reservation criteria, and seats available. The candidates who qualify for NEET and fulfil other eligibility conditions are only eligible for the counseling process.
For 2023 the counselling schedule is yet to be announced. It will be announced once the final results are declared for NEET. This year the NEET exam was conducted on 7th May 2023 nationwide. The final answer key has been released on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA).
