Chhattisgarh: The MBBS counseling process in Chhattisgarh will begin soon after the NEET UG final result is announced. Director of Medical Education (DME) Raipur will conduct the counseling process, which is a state-centralized online counseling process.
National Testing Agency conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) –2023 for 2087449 candidates at 4097 different centers located in 499 cities throughout the country, including 14 cities outside India on 07 May 2023 (Sunday) from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM (IST). The provisional answer key has been released. However, the final results are still awaited.
A total of 2 rounds will be conducted along with the mop-up round for the MBBS admission process. A stay vacancy round will be conducted if needed only when all the seats available are not filled up till the mop-up round. The seats are allocated based on the NEET scorecard, choices filled, reservation criteria, and seats available. The candidates who qualify for NEET and fulfill other eligibility conditions are only eligible for the counseling process. The counseling process includes registration, choice filling, the release of the seat allotment list, document verification, and reporting to the allotted institute.
