MCC announces AIQ, state counselling dates for NEET 2026 special stray round for MBBS, round 5 for BDS, BSc Nursing

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling schedule for the Special Stray Vacancy Round for MBBS admissions and Round 5 for BDS and BSc Nursing courses for the academic year 2026.
As per the schedule, the counselling process for All India Quota (AIQ), Deemed and Central Universities will be conducted from November 2 to November 7, 2026, while state counselling will take place from November 3 to November 7, 2026.
The schedule also specifies the last date for candidates to join their allotted institutions and the timeline for sharing allotment data between MCC and state counselling authorities.
According to the schedule, November 16, 2026, is the last date for joining allotted institutions under both AIQ and state counselling.
As per the schedule, the Special Stray Vacancy Round for MBBS seats under AIQ, Deemed and Central Universities will be conducted from November 2 to November 7, 2026.

The Special Stray Vacancy Round provides a further counselling opportunity for MBBS seats remaining unfilled after the earlier rounds, subject to the applicable eligibility and participation rules.
