MCC begins round 1 choice filling for NEET counselling 2026
New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), has begun the choice filling process for Round 1 of the NEET UG Counselling 2026.
According to the official notice issued by the MCC in this regard, candidates participating in Round 1 will be able to enter and submit their preferred choices from 4:00 PM onwards through the MCC counselling portal.
“This is to inform all candidates that the Choice Filling for Round-1 of UG Counselling 2026 will be available from 04:00 PM onwards on 07 August 2026”, the notice read.
The choice filling stage is an important part of the counselling process, as candidates are required to select their preferred institutes and courses in the order in which they wish to be considered for seat allotment.
MCC has advised all candidates to regularly visit the official website for any further announcements or updates regarding the counselling schedule, choice locking, seat allotment and reporting process.
Candidates should carefully review their preferences before final submission and keep track of the subsequent counselling deadlines notified by MCC.
