New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has announced an extension of the choice filling process for Round 3 of All India NEET PG Counselling 2025 till further notice.
This comes after the updated seat matrix was released by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).
According to the official notice issued by the MCC in this regard, NMC and NBEMS have approved additional PG seats (MD, MS, Diploma and DNB) for the academic session 2025 after the commencement of Round 3 counselling. In view of this development, the competent authority has decided to extend the choice filling window for Round 3 in the larger interest of candidates.
The notice further stated that the newly approved seats will be added to the Round 3 seat matrix, and candidates will be allowed to exercise and modify their choices to include these seats during the extended choice-filling period. However, MCC has not specified the revised closing date, advising candidates to wait for further updates.
