MCC NEET PG 2024 Counselling Final Schedule Likely to be Released This Week
New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is likely to release the detailed schedule of National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2024 this week. NEET PG counselling will be conducted for AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Round and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round.
A week ago, the UDFA shared the status update regarding the NEET-PG 2024 counselling and mentioned, "As per discussions of team UDFA with MCC & Health Ministry officials, the NEET PG 2024 tentative schedule is expected to be updated within the next 2-3 days. We urge all aspirants to stay tuned for further updates & all the very best to aspirants."
As per reports, it is likely that the detailed final counselling schedule will be released this week. However, it is also expected that the counselling will begin only after the Supreme Court announces its verdict on the plea alleging discrepancies in the NEET PG 2024 result and exam process.
Earlier a month ago, i.e., in September 2024, MCC started the registration process for NEET PG counselling 2024. On this, MCC released the tentative schedule - NEET PG counselling 2024 began on 20th September 2024 and will continue till December 10, 2024. Round 1 will begin from 20th September 2024 to 10th October 2024. Round 2 will begin from 14th October 2024 to 5th November 2024, round 3 will begin from 7th November 2024 to 26th November 2024 and the stray vacancy round will begin from 28th November 2024 to 10th December 2024.
After several controversies, the NEET PG 2024 exam was finally conducted on August 11, 2024, and the results were declared on August 23, 2024. Meanwhile, the aspirants are worried about their future without any clarity regarding the counselling schedule for the PG medical entrance exam.
