MCC removes MBBS seat from NEET 2025 special stray round counselling, details

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has announced the removal of an MBBS seat from the seat matrix of the Special Stray Vacancy Round of the National Eligibility and Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) Counselling for the academic year 2025-26.
According to the official notice issued by the MCC in this regard, the seat has been withdrawn following information received from the Government Medical College, Manjeri, Malappuram district, Kerala. A total of only 1 AIQ seat to be removed in the OP NO category has been withdrawn.
The seat will be removed from the seat matrix before the allotment process for the Special Stray Vacancy Round of UG Counselling 2025. This ensures that the seat will not be available for choice filling or allotment during the special round.
Therefore, candidates participating in the Special Stray Vacancy Round of NEET UG 2025 should carefully review the updated seat matrix on the official MCC website before exercising their choices, as seat availability may change based on institutional updates.
