MCC to release round 3 NEET PG counselling dates after revised percentile approval, states told to hold off

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has informed all State Counselling Authorities that the All India Quota (AIQ) and State schedule for Round 3 of PG Counselling 2025 will be released only after the completion of the process related to revised percentile eligibility.
In an official notice issued by the MCC in this regard, addressed to State Directors of Medical Education (DMEs), Vice Chancellors, and Secretaries (Medical Education) of all States, the MCC mentioned that the counselling schedule for Round 3 will be uploaded after receiving approval of the revised percentile eligibility for participation in PG Counselling 2025 from the competent authority.
The notice further stated that once the revised eligibility criteria are finalised, MCC will publish the revised AIQ schedule along with the State Counselling schedule for PG Counselling 2025. Until then, all State Counselling Authorities have been advised not to proceed with Round 3 of counselling.
Conducting Round 3 counselling without the officially uploaded schedule could lead to inconsistencies, and therefore, states must wait for the formal notification before initiating the next round.
