MD, MS, PG Diploma, DNB Admissions 2023: TN Health Releases Tentative Round 3 Schedule for candidates, details

MD, MS, PG Diploma, DNB Admissions 2023: TN Health Releases Tentative Round 3 Schedule for candidates, details

Tamil Nadu: Tamil Nadu Health (TN Health) has released the tentative round 3 counseling schedule for DNB- Post Diploma, Post MBBS 2 Years Diploma, MDS, PG Degree, and PG Diploma courses.

Detailed schedule –

1. Registration/ Payment – up to 01-10-2023, 05.00 PM

2. Choice Filling & Locking – from 02-10-2023, 10.00 AM to 04-10-2023, 05.00 PM

3. Processing of Seat Allotment - 05-10-2023 (DNB- Post Diploma, Post MBBS 2 Years Diploma, PG Degree, PG Diploma), 04-10-2023 (MDS)

4. Result - 06-10-2023 (DNB- Post Diploma, Post MBBS 2 Years Diploma, PG Degree, PG Diploma), 05-10-2023 (MDS)

5. Downloading the Provisional Allotment Order - 06-10-2023

6. Last Date of Joining - 10-10-2023 05.00 PM

Candidates who are participating in the online choice filling for PG Degree/Diploma Courses will have to remit a non-refundable Registration Fee of Rs.1000/- for Government Quota and Rs. 1000/- for Management Quota.

At the time of registration, the fresh candidate will have to pay a Refundable Security Deposit (If already paid, need not pay again) –

Government Quota –

1. For Government Medical Colleges – Rs. 30000/- (DNB- Post Diploma, Post MBBS 2 Years Diploma, MDS, PG Degree, and PG Diploma)

2. For Government Quota seats in Self-Financing Medical College - Rs. 100000/- (MDS, PG Degree, and PG Diploma)

Management Quota –

For Management Quota including Minority/ NRI Category seats in Self-Financing Medical Colleges - Rs.200000/- (MDS, PG Degree, and PG Diploma)

Up-gradation in Mop-up Round (Round 3) –

1. Candidates who resigned from Round 1 and Round 2 with forfeiture of the security deposit registration fee will not be allowed to participate in the Mop-up Round (Round 3) and subsequent rounds.

2. Candidates of Round 1 and Round 2 who have not resigned can go for Up-gradation in the Mop-Up Round (Round 3).

3. Candidates of Round 1 and Round 2 allotted and not joined can go for upgradation in the Mop-up Round (Round 3).

4. The candidates who wish to retain the College taken in the first & second rounds of online counseling need not participate in the Mop-Up Round (Round -3) of counseling.

Choice Filling –

Candidates will have the option of choice filling all the seats for which they have applied. They can edit their choices any number of times before locking, but once locked, they will not be allowed to edit. Hence, candidates are requested to check their choices and the order of preference before locking. If the candidate does not lock his/her choices till the last date, their choices will be automatically locked.

Virtual Vacancies -

Any candidate who has been allotted a seat in Round 1& Round 2 and has opted for up-gradation in Mop-up (Round 3), that allotted seat of Round 1 & Round 2 will be shown as a virtual vacancy in Mop-Up (Round 3), any Candidates can fill the said seat (virtual seat) during the choice filling in Mop-up Round (Round 3). However, such a seat will be allotted in the Mop-up Round (Round 3) only if the allotted candidate of Round 1 & Round 2 vacates that seat. Thus, that virtual vacancy becomes a real vacancy; it is open to all in the order of merit.

Any candidate who has opted for upgradation in the mop-up (Round-3 -3) allotted seat in the mop-up round (Round-3) will necessarily have to vacate the seat and cannot claim to retain the seats.

Not allowed to vacate the seat. If the candidate wants to discontinue, then forfeit. Registration Fee, security deposit, and tuition fees and pay penalty

Not allowed for further rounds of counseling

The candidates note that admission to PG Degree/ Diploma courses shall be made by online counseling on the basis of rank by applying the rule of reservation.

Instructions for downloading allotment order –

The freshly allotted candidates have to pay the Tuition Fee for downloading the Provisional allotment order online via Debit Card / Credit Card/Net Banking. The fee structure is available on the official website of TN Health. The re-allotted candidates who already paid the tuition fee in Round I & Round 2 of online counseling have to pay the difference (if any) amount only.

The re-allotted/allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Medical College/Institution College before the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the Provisional Allotment Order.

Reporting to allotted college –

The candidates should produce their original certificates in person at the time of joining their selected Colleges, along with a scanned copy of the original certificates for verification. If the candidates do not report to the Head of the Institution to which they are allotted on or before the time and date specified, your selection and/or admission will be canceled without any further notice.

The selected candidates for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of the reporting to the concerned College that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.
