NEET 2026: MCC activates PwD portal for round 2 counselling, releases dates for medical assessment

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has activated the PwD portal for Round 2 of the NEET UG Counselling for the academic year 2026-27 and issued a fresh medical assessment schedule for candidates applying under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category.
The counselling authority has fixed separate timelines for assessment by the Primary Medical Assessment Board and the Appellate Medical Assessment Board.

As per the notice issued by the MCC, PwD candidates participating in Round 2 must complete their medical assessment within the prescribed schedule and ensure their assessment details are generated online on the MCC portal.
Candidates who require assessment by the Primary Medical Assessment Board must report to the designated board by 10:30 AM on September 5, 2026.
The Primary Medical Assessment Board has been directed to complete the assessment process by 6:00 PM on September 6, 2026.
MCC has advised candidates to visit the concerned Primary Medical Assessment Centre within the stipulated time, in accordance with the revised Round 2 schedule.
Meanwhile, candidates who need to appear before the Appellate Medical Assessment Board must report by 12:00 Noon on September 8, 2026.

MCC has specifically instructed concerned candidates to ensure that their medical assessment is completed within the prescribed period and that the assessment details are generated online on the MCC portal.
