NEET: AIIMS New Delhi further revises reporting guidelines, dates for MBBS admissions 2026, check details

New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has further revised the reporting guidelines for candidates who have been allotted admission at the college through the NEET UG 1st round Counselling for the academic year 2026-27.

The NEET UG 2025 Counselling is being conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

The instructions have been released following the recent declaration of the NEET UG 1st round Counselling result for the academic year 2025.

Candidates need to go through the instructions provided by MCC regarding the process of reporting and taking admission from the website of MCC.

As per the schedule of the MCC, candidates are now required to report at the Academic Section, Undergraduate Cell, AIIMS, New Delhi, to complete the process of Admission from today, i.e. 25th to 31st August 2025, between 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM.

Moreover, after the reporting process, the Medical Examination and submission of Academic Fees will be done on 1st September 2025. While, the Hostel Accommodation and submission of Hostel Fees will also be done on the same day.

Following this, the General Orientation Programme will be conducted on 02 September, 2026. Thereafter, the Orientation Programme CREST will be conducted from 03 to 08 September, 2026. Below is the Revised Schedule of activities for Undergraduate Counselling 2025-

Medical Examination and Submission of Academic Fees.

Reporting at 08:45 AM

The medical examination shall be conducted on 01 September in the Conference Hall, and on declaration of Medical Fitness, candidates are required to pay the requisite Academic Fee as provided in the Prospectus.

Hostel Accommodation and Submission of Hostel Fees.

01 September, 2026

At the Conference Hall.

On declaration of Medical Fitness, the candidate has to deposit the requisite fee for admission & hostel accommodation. Hostel accommodation will be done immediately after submission of fee.

General Orientation Programme.

02 September, 2026

A General Orientation Programme with the Director & Dean (Academics), AIIMS, along with other Faculty members, will be arranged for 2026-Batch MBBS students in the Conference Hall.

Orientation Programme CREST.

From 03 to 08 September, 2026

An orientation Programme has been arranged for 2026-batch MBBS students for their welfare at the Conference Hall/CMETi, which is compulsory for all to attend. The regular classes will start from 09 September, 2026.

Meanwhile, it is to be noted that the candidates must bring two sets of copies of the below-mentioned documents while reporting for the submission of documents. For candidates who join the MBBS course at AIIMS, New Delhi, his/her Original certificates will be retained and the same will not be returned to the candidate before completion of the course. Below are the complete instructions.

DOCUMENTS

Below is the list of Documents to be brought on the day of reporting-

1 Provisional Seat Allotment Letter from MCС.

2 NEET/NTA Scorecard - original print, not photocopy.

3 NTA Admit Card - original print, not photocopру.

4 Five passport-size photographs.

5 Identity Proof (Aadhar Card/ Election Card/Passport or any photo identity proof issued by the Government of India).

6 One set of photocopies of each of the documents mentioned above.

7 Certificate of having passed the 10+2 or equivalent Examinations, showing the subject offered by him/her in the Examination.

8 Certificate from the Board from which he/she passed the High School/Higher Secondary Examination, showing his/her date of birth.

9 Certificate/Mark sheet from the Board from which he/she passed the 10+2 or equivalent Examination showing that he/she has secured 60% or more marks (50% in case of SC/ST Candidates & 45% for persons with Benchmark Disability) in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

10 Migration Certificate from the University/Board last attended by him/her.
