NEET Counselling 2026: MCC sets document verification, confirmation deadlines for round 2 float candidates
New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an important notice for candidates who opted for the Float option in Round 2 of the NEET UG Counselling for the academic year 2026-27.
According to the schedule mentioned in the notice, once the document verification process is completed, the allotted institute will either confirm or cancel the candidate's Round 2 admission by 11:00 AM today, i.e. September 19, 2026.
Candidates have subsequently been advised to log in to their accounts and check their admission status after 12:30 PM on September 19, 2026. Below is the detailed schedule-
SCHEUDLE
The candidates who have chosen the FLOAT option for Round-2 of UG Counselling 2026 are advised to take note of the following schedule for uploading/ verification of documents-

2 | Submission of Willingness of candidates for upgradation (i.e Choose Freeze/ Float option). | Up to 4:30 PM, September 18 |
3 | Uploading of documents for FLOAT candidates. | Up to 5:00 PM, September 18 |
4 | Publication of the list of allotted candidates of Round-2 whose document verification is pending (institute-wise). | Up to 6:00 PM, September 18 |
5 | Verification of documents at institute level. Allotted Institutes will raise discrepancies in the documents of allotted candidates, if any. | Up to 8:00 PM, September 18 |
6 | Candidates can avail the last opportunity to re-upload corrected documents after resolution of the discrepancy as mentioned in the query raised by the allotted institute. If the candidate does not upload corrected documents, the seat will be cancelled. | Up to 11:30 PM, September 18 |
7 | The institute will either Confirm/ Cancel the admission of the candidate for Round-2 within the stipulated time. | Up to 11:00 AM, September 19 |
