NEET counselling 2026: UP DGME releases round 2 seat matrix, merit list
Uttar Pradesh: The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, has released the Round 2 seat matrix for UP NEET UG Counselling 2026, detailing seats available for MBBS and BDS admissions across participating medical and dental colleges in the state.
The seat matrix provides college as well as category-wise distribution of seats for the second round of counselling. It covers government and other participating institutions and gives candidates a clearer picture of the seats available before exercising their choices.
According to the seat matrix, a total of 3656 seats are vacant across Government and private medical and dental colleges across UP.
Of these, a total of 396 seats are vacant in Government and a total of 3260 seats are vacant in private medical and dental colleges. Below is the detailed seat matrix-

Along with this, the Uttar Pradesh NEET UG Counselling authorities have also released the state merit list for Round 2 of UP NEET UG Counselling 2026, bringing candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses in the state a step closer to the seat allotment process.
The merit list contains the details of candidates registered for the second round of counselling. The document provides candidate-wise information including roll number, name, father's name, UP category, UP subcategory, NEET UG marks and NEET rank.
