New Delhi: More than two weeks have passed since the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducted the National Eligibility-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 Examination. Meanwhile, aspirants are upset as there is no update regarding when the results of the PG medical entrance examination may be released.

Anxious about their future, the aspirants are expressing their frustration over the delay in publishing the exam results on social media platforms.

Candidates are claiming that the wait for the exam results is taking a toll on them. "I just want closure from NEET PG results. I'm sick and tired of this wait. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INSIDER INFO- THIS IS KILLING ME?!" wrote an X user.

Another user wrote in an X post, "NBE and the NEET PG result date have the same relationship as me and gym—always ‘soon, soon’ but never today."

The candidates are pointing out that a lot of time has passed since the exam was conducted and seeking clarity when the results will be published, an X user asked the Union Health Minister J P Nadda, "When result of neet pg 2025 will be declared? 12 days passed after examination, neither answer key has been released nor the result has been declared?"

Slamming both the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), another user wrote on X, "I genuinely despise NMC and nbems for their neet pg conduct. Also every year they say result will be out after a month but they release in 7-12 days , while counselling starts in 3-4 months. I genuinely wish they respect their own commitment and let students have some free days."

Since there is no clarity regarding the date of publication of the NEET PG results, a comparison is now being made between the pattern of NEET PG 2024 and 2025 examination. While NEET PG 2024 was held in two shifts and a normalisation formula was applied to declare the results of candidates appearing in the exam in different shifts, this year, the Supreme Court ordered against the Double-Shift examination. Therefore, NBEMS had to conduct the NEET PG 2025 exam in a single shift on August 3. Referring to this, questions are being raised why the NEET PG 2025 exam results are being delayed even though there is no requirement for normalisation this year.

Highlighting this, Pattnaik, a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), wrote in an X post, "In 2024, the #NEETPG result was announced within 12 days, despite the need for normalization. However, the result of #NEETPG2025, held in a single shift on 03.08.2025 after a 48-day delay, has yet to be declared, even though normalization is not required. Why is the NBEMS treating the lives and careers of young doctors so casually? #NEETPGresults #medtwitterindia."

Although there is no clarity regarding the date when the NEET PG results will be published, Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that, as per the schedule, NBEMS will release the NEET PG 2025 exam results by September 3, 2025. The result will be released on the official website of NBE, and candidates who took the exam will be able to check their results online.
