NEET PG, MDS 2023: Dr YSR University of Health Sciences Opens Window For Exercising Web Options For Phase 1 Counselling Of Management Quota Seats

Andhra Pradesh: Dr YSR University of Health Sciences has opened the window for exercising web options for phase 1 counselling of management quota seats (S1, S2, & S3) for admissions into the postgraduate medical and dental degree/diploma courses for the academic year 2023-2024.

As per the notice, the candidates can exercise the web options up to 10.00 PM on 26-08-2023. For medical, the candidates need to use the link https://pgmq.ysruhs.com/ and for dental, https:// mdsmq.ysruhs.com/.

All the candidates whose names are listed in the Final Merit Position, dt.24.08.2023, notified in the University Website are only eligible to exercise web options on the above schedule dates as per the Seat Matrix displayed in the website http://drysr.uhsap.in.

There is no limit to choices (number) for exercising web options. Candidates can exercise any number of options for any number of specialities and colleges if the candidate is really interested in joining that particular speciality in a particular college as per eligibility.

Candidates should be careful while exercising options on the web and take the printout of the saved options. They must exercise options in courses and colleges in which they are really interested. If they are not interested in joining any speciality or college, then they should not exercise options for the same.

Candidates can exercise web options from any place having an internet facility. A one-time password will be sent to the registered mobile number at the time of saving Web options.

Priority of Selected Options can be altered. Web options opted must be saved by the candidate. Web options, once submitted, cannot be edited. Web options saved but not submitted until the cutoff date and time will be auto-submitted.

The following candidates are eligible to exercise the web options –

1. Those candidates who have been allotted a seat and reported.

2. Those candidates who have not been allotted any seat in this Phase-I counselling.

3. Those candidates who have been allotted a seat in this Phase -I but not reported/not joined at the allotted colleges. However, if a candidate has not joined/reported in the allotted seat of Phase -I then that particular seat shall not be available for that candidate to exercise web options in Phase-II counselling.

The selected candidates shall produce all the original certificates, pay the tuition fee, necessary bonds, etc., and complete the process of admission. If the candidate does not fulfil the criteria as per regulations to complete the admission process on the specified dates of admission, their admission will be cancelled automatically.

The verification of original certificates will be conducted at the time of admission in the respective College, and in case of any discrepancy, the Provisional allotment will be cancelled, and action will be initiated. If the candidate slides to other colleges (i.e., affiliated colleges of Dr.YSR UHS) during subsequent Phases of counselling, the tuition fee will be sent to the slid college by the concerned college where the amount is held.

Upgradation of candidates after Phase-II is not allowed in view of Supreme Court Orders, dt.22- 07-2022 in Contempt Petition (Civil) No.289 of 2022 in W.P. (CIVIL) No.223 of 2022.

If any candidate joins the allotted seat of Phase-I of Competent Authority Quota(CQ) seat in A.P. State can slide to a seat allotted in this Phase-I of Management Quota seat in AP State, and in such case, the tuition fee already paid for the CQ will be returned to the candidate by the concerned college.

Distribution of seats –

As per G.O.Ms.No.102, HM&FW (C1) Dept., dated 15 -07-2023 -

1. 15% of Subcategory -1 seats only are open to candidates from all over the Country.

2. For the Remaining 85% of Subcategory -1 seats, only Local candidates of

3. Andhra Pradesh, i.e ., AU/SVU, are only eligible.

As per G.O.Ms.No. 57, HM&FW (C1) Dept., dated 28-04-2023 (Non-Minority Colleges) and G.O.Ms.No.74, HM&FW (C1) Dept., dated 06-06-2023 (Minority Colleges) -

1. Management Quota -Subcategory - 1(S1): 25% of the sanctioned intake of seats, course-wise, in each institution shall be filled by the candidates in General Merit based on the NEET P G-2023/NE ET MD S-2023 ranking.

2. Management Quota -Subcategory -2(S2): 15% seats out of total intake capacity, course wise, in each institution shall be filled by foreign students/ NRI/NRI sponsored candidates on the basis of inter -se-merit among the applicants qualified in NEET PG -2023/NE ET MD S -2023.

3. Management Quota -Subcategory -3(S3): 10% seats out of total intake capacity, course wise, in each Institution shall be Institutional preference/In - service management quota seats filled on the basis of inter -se-merit among the applicants qualified in NEET PG -2023/NE ET MD S-2023.

University fee –

Candidates to whom the seat is allotted have to pay Rs.49600 for downloading the allotment letter. The payment is to be paid through a payment Gateway by using an online payment method (Debit Card/ Credit Card/Internet Banking).

Tuition fee for PG Medical –

The following is the Tuition fee structure for the academic year 2023 -24 to be payable in Private Un-aided Non- Minority and Minority Medical Colleges as per G.O.Ms.No.123, HM & FW (C1) Department, dated 10-08-2023 of Government of Andhra Pradesh subject to the outcome of the W.P.Nos.32975, 33162 & 35090 of 2022.

Mop Up Round -

1. Candidates who have exercised/ participated for web options in Phase-I & Phase-II of MQ seats but were not allotted any seats are eligible for the Mop Up round.

2. Candidates who have not exercised/participated in web options in any phase of MQ seats are not eligible for participating in the Mop Up round.

3. Candidates who have been allotted any seat in any Phase of counselling of MQ seats are not eligible to participate in the Mop Up Round.

4. Candidates who have already joined any seat in any college are not eligible to participate in the Mop Up Round.

Stray vacancy round -

The stray vacancy round for the seats, if any, available at the end of the up round(s) in all Government and Private Medical Colleges, including Minority Medical Colleges affiliated to Dr YSR UHS shall be conducted by Dr YSR UHS in online mode from the academic year 2023-24.
