NEET PG, MDS Counselling 2023: DME Gujarat Extends deadline for Admission Cancellation

Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has extended the date of admission cancelation for NEET PG and NEET MDS courses.
The candidates who have confirmed their admission in 1st round or 2nd round of PG Medical & Dental (MD/MS/Diploma/MDS) courses after paying fees at the designated branch of Axis Bank & submitting the original documents at the help center and want to cancel the admission, can cancel their admission at help center where the candidate has submitted original documents for admission confirmation is extended up to 1.00 pm on 30-09-2023. For the detailed notice, the candidates need to visit the official website of DME.
The candidates will have to go to the admission-reported help center in person. The same seat will also be available to such candidates for subsequent rounds of admission, and candidates can take part in subsequent rounds of counseling.
If the candidate cannot come for some reason, the parents/representatives must bring the “Authority Letter” signed by the candidate to the help center. Without an Authority Letter, parents/ representatives won’t be able to collect the documents. The authority letter is available on page 2 of this document.
The candidates have to submit the following documents and then collect the original documents –
1. An application to cancel the admission
2. Original admission order of ACPPGMEC
3. Fee receipt/ challan - Xerox copy
4. Self-attested Xerox copy of Allotment Letter of All India Quota/ Deemed/ Central Universities / Other State Counseling OR application of cancellation if not admitted anywhere
5. ID Proof - Xerox copy
6. Authority letter (In case parents/representatives want to collect the documents)
Fees will be adjusted if the candidate takes admission in 3rd round. Fees will be refunded after completion of the admission process if the candidate does not take any admission.
