NTA To Release Provisional Answer Key For NEET 2023 Soon
Delhi: NEET UG 2023 exam was conducted on 7th May 2023 from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM (Indian Standard Time). After successful completion of the exam, National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the provisional answer key on the official website.
The candidates will be able to check the provisional answer key by clicking candidate activity on the home page of the official website of NTA. The link will be available there. They have to log in using their date of birth and application number. After releasing the provisional answer key, candidates will be allowed to raise objections, and after all the objections are raised, the final answer key will be released.
The question paper was divided into 2 sections, and the following marking scheme will be followed for both sections -
For Section A -
For every correct answer or the most appropriate answer, four marks (+4) will be awarded, any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1), and unanswered no mark (0). If more than one option is found to be correct, then four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
If all options are found to be correct, then four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the Question. If none of the options is found correct or a Question is found to be wrong, or a Question is dropped, all candidates who have appeared will be given four marks (+4) irrespective of whether the Question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.
For Section B –
For every correct answer or the most appropriate answer, four marks (+4) will be awarded, any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1), and unanswered no mark (0). If more than one option is found to be correct, then four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
If all options are found to be correct, then four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the Question. If a question is found to be incorrect or dropped, then four marks (+4) will be awarded to all who have attempted the Question. The reason could be due to human error or technical error.
