PG medical admissions 2024: KNRUHS Notifies On Free Exit For Non-Service Candidates
Telangana- Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has announced the last date for the free exit for non-service candidates admitted under competent authority quota to Postgraduate (PG) courses for the academic year 2024-25.
It has been announced through a notification through which it has been informed that the last date for exit without any penalty for non-service candidates admitted up to the 2nd round of counselling under competent authority quota in PG Medical Courses for the academic year 2024-25 is 30 January 2025 up to 4.00 pm. Therefore, the Non-service candidates are allowed to leave the course on application to the Principal for leaving the course.
Meanwhile, if candidates discontinue the course after January 30, 2025, a penalty clause will be applicable with payment of tuition fee for the entire course and a bond amount of Rs 50,00,000 and will also be debarred from admission to PG medical courses under KNRUHS for 3 years.
However, candidates are also informed that once they leave the course they will not be eligible for the next round of competent authority quota counselling for PG medical courses. The seats vacated by non-service candidates will be filled in the mop-up phase of counselling.
Moreover, all the Principals of Medical Colleges are also informed that they can relieve any Non-Service candidate who wants to discontinue from the course from Competent Authority Quota admissions for 2024-25 on written application from the candidate up to 04.00 P.M. on 30 January 2025 under intimation to the University. They are also informed to return the Original Certificates, Bonds and Tuition fees without any penalty.
Along with this, the Principals of all the Medical Colleges are also directed to mandatorily upload the details of any such discontinued candidate on the PMT Online Portal by 04.30 PM on 30th January 2025.
