Special Stray Vacancy Round Of PG Medical, PG Dental Courses: Dr YSR University of Health Sciences Opens Window For Web Options, details

Andhra Pradesh: Dr YSR University of Health Sciences has opened the window for exercising the web options for special stray vacancy round for PG Medical and PG Dental courses under competent authority quota and management quota.

As per the notice, the candidates can exercise the web options till 02.00 PM on 25.11.2023. Eligible Non-Service candidates whose names are in the Final Merit Position notified on the University Website for the Special Stray Vacancy round are only eligible to exercise web options as per the above dates. All the vacant seats for the Special Stray round are converted as “Unreserved Open General seats.”

Candidates who are not holding any PG(Medical/Dental) seat either in All India Quota or State Quota are eligible to participate in this special stray round.

Non-eligibility -

1. Candidates who have been allotted any PG (Medical/Dental) seat in any Phase, including Mop Up rounds and stray vacancy rounds conducted by Dr. YSRUHS for Competent Authority Quota (CQ) and Management Quota (MQ) are not eligible to participate in special stray vacancy round.

2. Candidates joined/holding any PG (Medical/Dental) seat under Dr YSR UHS / All India Quota / KNR UHS, Telangana / Any Other States are not eligible for this special stray vacancy round.

3. Allotted Candidates of Round-3 of AIQ/Stray round of AIQ / CQ or MQ stray rounds of Dr. YSRUHS / Stray round of KNRUHS, TS are not eligible for this special stray vacancy round.

4. Candidates who have not exercised/participated in web options in any Phase of CQ seats of Dr. YSRUHS are not eligible for this special stray vacancy round.

5. If the names of the candidates found in the list of candidates allotted under Special Stray Vacancy Round by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) to be shared by MCC on 25.11.2023, they will not be considered under this notification, and the options exercised by them shall not be considered for allotment process.

If it is found that an ineligible candidate has opted, the candidature of such candidates will not be considered for allotments.

In respect of S1B seats for management quota, preference will be given to local candidates of Andhra Pradesh and if eligible candidates from Andhra Pradesh are not available, the same will be allotted to S1A candidates based on Merit list, options and subject to availability of seats.

Management Quota S1 & S2 seats in Minority Medical Colleges will be allotted to Muslim Minority Candidates only. If Muslim Minority Candidates are not available, the seats will be allotted to Non-Muslim Minority Candidates. Muslim Minority Candidates are also eligible for Management Quota seats in other Medical Colleges. Hence, Non-Muslim Minority candidates may also exercise web options for Minority colleges if they are interested.

Candidates, if allotted any seat in this Special Stray Round, should compulsorily join the course, failing which candidates shall be debarred for one academic year, i.e., 2024-25, for admissions into Medical/Dental Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh. As such they are advised to give options to the courses for which they are really interested to join so as to give a chance to the next meritorious candidates.

Candidate can download the provisional allotment order for CQ on payment of University fee of Rs.23,600/- through the payment gateway and report to the Principal of the allotted College on or before the date specified in the allotment order along with all original certificates, failing which the allotment is deemed to be cancelled without any further intimation. The University fee, once paid, shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

Candidate can download the provisional allotment order for MQ on payment of the University fee of Rs.49,600/- through the payment gateway and report to the Principal of the allotted College on or before the date specified in the allotment order.

Each Non-service candidate admitted into a PG (Medical) course in State Quota/Competent Authority Quota seats in Government Medical Colleges/Private Medical Colleges shall execute a bond to serve the Government of Andhra Pradesh compulsorily in APVVP/DME, A.P Hospitals for a period of one year after completion of PG(Medical) Degree course. If they violate the bond condition either by not joining or by not completing the stipulated service period of one year within a maximum period of 18 months after completion of the PG (Medical) Degree course, a penalty of Rs.40,00,000/- (Rupees forty lakhs only) on PG (Medical) Degree candidates shall be levied. The Principals shall obtain a bond in the prescribed proforma.
