Subharti Medical College to charge Zero Tuition Fees for 6 MD Courses: UP DGME Notice

Uttar Pradesh- Subharti Medical College has informed through the letter that no tuition fees will be charged from the candidates at the time of admission in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Gynecology and Community Medicine courses.
The letter has been issued by the Director General, Medical Education and Training, Lucknow (UPDGME), Uttar Pradesh on its official website. According to the letter, the fees charged from the candidate in the subjects of Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Gynecology and Community Medicine in respect of the tuition fee prescribed by the government have now been adjusted in the stipend given to the candidate, hence no tuition fee is to be charged from the candidate at the time of admission.
Therefore, it is requested that the miscellaneous fees which have been fixed by the Government at Rs. 1,28,400/- per year instead of Rs. 50,000/- per year, should be collected by the Subharti Medical College Management at the Nodal Centre. Also, to grant admission to the candidates who have been allotted seats in the counselling in the said courses by charging 0 tuition fees instead of the tuition fees fixed by the Government.
Meanwhile, it is also to be noted that even after adjusting the entire annual tuition fee with the stipend, the candidates will be given a stipend of Rs. 30,000 per month.

The Department of Medical Education plays a pivotal role in developing medical and para-medical personnel to cater to the state's health needs.
