TN Health Releases Tentative Round 2 Counselling Schedule For Super Speciality Courses
Tamil Nadu: Tamil Nadu Health (TN Health) has released the tentative round- II counselling schedule for Super Speciality (DM/MCH) courses in government medical colleges 2023-2024 session.
Detailed schedule –
1. Registration/ Payment – up to 14-12-2023 03:00 PM (GENERAL RANK - All Eligible Candidates)
2. Choice Filling/ Locking - 14-12-2023 03:30 PM - 15-12-2023 08:00 AM
3. Result - 15-12-2023
4. Download of Provisional Allotment Order and Reporting Time - 15-12-2023 TO 16-12-2023 Before 03:00 PM
Candidates who have not attended Round I counseling for the Super Speciality (DM/MCH) course will have to remit a non-refundable amount of Rs. 1,000/- as a processing fee online by using a Debit Card /Net Banking or Credit Card.
All candidates have to register to participate in this counseling. Fresh choice filling and locking should be done by the candidate. Candidates who wish to retain their seats in the first round of counseling need not participate in this counseling.
Candidates who are not participated/not joined in Round I counseling can also participate in this counseling. Anticipated vacancies/virtual vacancies will be shown to all the candidates in order of merit. Re-allotted candidates need not pay the Security Deposit again. Candidates should be vigilant while choice filling. Seat Matrix of the Courses will be available on official websites.
Candidates have to ensure their preference for choice filling after carefully considering their options regarding Super Speciality courses (their eligibility in multiple eligible broad speciality feeders).
There is no reservation in Super Specialty (D.M./M.Ch./DNB) courses in compliance with the Direction of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in i. W.P. (c) 290/1997 & W.P. (c) 444/ 2015.
Selection of candidates for the SUPER SPECIALITY (DM/MCH) course shall be made by the ONLINE COUNSELLING on the basis of NEET SS rank. This counseling is exclusively only for in-service candidates of the state of Tamil Nadu as per the order issued by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India dated 02.12.2022 in W.P (C) No. 53/2022.
Candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of reporting to the concerned Medical College that he/she is liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts or misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.
Candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Medical College on or before the date and time stipulated as mentioned in the allotment order during the first phase of online counseling.
Allotted in-service candidates who discontinue the course after the last date of joining should pay the Discontinuation Fees, besides foregoing tuition fees already paid by them, to the Deans of the respective Colleges, the sum as specified below in total by means of a Demand Draft drawn in favor of “The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai – 10”, payable at Chennai.
The candidates will have to pay discontinuation Fees of Rs. 20,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty lakhs only). Unless the aforesaid discontinuation fee as penalty amount is paid in total, the candidates will not be relieved and original certificates submitted by the candidates at the time of admission will be retained by the concerned institutions.
The candidates should produce the following original certificates in person at the time of joining their selected Medical College, along with the scanned copy of the original certificates to the concerned College –
1. NEET SS -2023-Score Card
2. NEET SS-2023 Admit Card
3. Aadhar Card
4. PG Degree Certificate or Provisional Pass Certificate
5. Permanent Medical Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council or Provisional Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council
6. TNPSC/MRB (through competitive written examination) Selection & Posting Order for service candidates
7. Eligibility Certificate, if applicable
8. Post Card size colour photograph (4”x6”) the same photo that has been uploaded in NEET SS-2023
Candidates are instructed to produce the above-mentioned original Certificates/ Documents at the time of joining the Medical College for certificate verification.
Candidates, while downloading their provisional allotment order, should pay the non-refundable Tuition Fee via Debit Card /Net Banking or Credit Card. The Tuition Fee paid at the time of downloading the provisional allotment order is non-refundable if the candidate does not join or discontinue the course.
The selected candidates have to pay any balance of the Tuition Fee (if any) and other special fees etc., at the time of admission in their respective colleges. Candidates are instructed to visit our official websites frequently for more information and any change in notifications from time to time as per Govt. policy, NMC norms and legal verdicts.
