UP DGME Issues instructions for Round 2 NEET Counselling candidates, details
Uttar Pradesh: Directorate General of Medical Education (UP DGME) has issued important instructions regarding the NEET UG round 2 counselling process.
The candidates filling the choices for round 2 need to lock the choices after choice filling. And if choice locking is not done, then they will be out of the seat allotment process. While filling out the choices, the candidates should not fill the same allotted seat of round 1. In case the same seat is allotted, then candidates will have to again at the nodal center and complete the admission process, or else it will not be considered.
The allotment of seats in round 2 will be done as per the merit list issued for round 2. During the choice-filling process of round 2, the seats displayed include vacant/non-reported, resigned, and SAC (Seat Against Cancellation). If the SAC seat of any candidate is upgraded, then the earlier seat will be allotted to other candidates based on merit and choice.
Once the candidates are re-allotted seats in round 2, then the admission taken in round 1 will automatically be canceled. The candidates cannot claim the seat of round 1 in such cases.
The candidates once allotted the seat in round 2, will have to carry the admission process at respective colleges for government colleges and nodal centers for private colleges. After the admission process, the candidates will have to get their medical done by the authorized board at nodal centers. Once the admission process is over, the candidates will have to report to the allotted colleges.
