UP NEET PG counselling round 3 put on hold

Uttar Pradesh: The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, UPDGME, Uttar Pradesh, has issued an important notice announcing that the third round of UP National Eligibility and Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling for the academic year 2025-2026 for MD, MS, PG Diploma and DNB courses has been kept on hold until further instructions.
According to the official notice issued on the UP DGME website, the decision has been taken following directions from the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), New Delhi. The MCC informed that counselling under the third round of NEET PG 2025 at the All India level has not yet commenced, and therefore, the corresponding state counselling process will remain suspended for the time being.
All candidates who were preparing to participate in the third round of UP NEET PG 2025 online counselling should note that no further counselling-related activities will be carried out until the competent authority issues new instructions.
The counselling will resume only after receiving clear directions from the MCC, ensuring alignment between All India Quota and State Quota counselling procedures.
