Uttar Pradesh- Through a recent notice, the Uttar Pradesh, Director General of Medical Education and Training (UPDGME) has informed regarding the formulation of policy for admission to the PCPNDT course for the academic session 2024-25.

A fixed policy is prescribed for admission to a six-month PCPNDT course in the state government medical college/university in the academic session 2024-25 on the basis of the merit list of National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) PG-2024.

1 ONLINE REGISTRATION OF CANDIDATES AND STATE MERIT LIST

National Informatics Centre (NIC) Yojana Bhawan, Lucknow is nominated as the technical institution for the processing of online registration, data capture, photo upload, registration/payment of security amount etc. of the candidates selected through NEET PG-2024. The merit list should be prepared by the Director General, Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh and the Director General, Medical and Health Services, UP in collaboration with NIC.

2 QUALIFICATIONS/DISQUALIFICATIONS

i The candidate must have appeared in the NEET PG-2024 examination and has been declared qualified in the examination.

ii On the basis of the policy laid down by the Government Order for the counselling of UP NEET PG 2024, only such candidates whose internship has been completed by 15th August 2024 will be eligible for counselling.

iii It will be mandatory for the candidate to be a resident of Uttar Pradesh State and be registered with Uttar Pradesh Medical Council.

iv Candidates who are currently studying in any post-graduate course or have failed in it will not be eligible for admission into the PCPNDT course.

3 REGISTRATION FEE AND SECURITY DEPOSIT

i Registration fee for participating in counselling of the PCPNCT course is fixed at Rs. 3,000/-.

ii Registration fee will be non-refundable under any circumstances.

iii Security money of Rs. 30,000/- is fixed for counselling of the PCPNDT course.

iv In case candidates are not allotted any seat, after counselling the security amount will be refunded as per rules in the same account from which it was paid.

4 RESERVATION SYSTEM

i Reservation will be payable to the native residents of Uttar Pradesh on the seats of PCPNDT course in the state sector medical colleges/institutions/universities established in the state, as per the latest list of reserved category castes issued by the Uttar Pradesh State, as follows-

ii Candidates who have migrated to Uttar Pradesh from other States / Union Territories will not be entitled to the benefit of any kind of reservation.

iii The benefit of horizontal reservation by the order passed will be admissible only on the seats available in the candidate's own category.

iv All certificates related to reservation (except disability certificate) will be valid only if issued by the competent authority of Uttar Pradesh in the format prescribed by the Uttar Pradesh Government.

v Reservation-related certificate will not be valid on the form of certificate submitted for appointment to posts under the Government of India.

vi Disability Certificate will be valid only if issued from the designated centres.

vii For Other Backward Classes, only the certificate issued after April 01, 2024, will be valid.

viii 20 per cent reservation from the total seats available for the candidates serving in the Medical and Health Department of Uttar Pradesh State and other Government services will be given for the PCPNDT course.

5 COUNSELLING AND ALLOTMENT PROCESS

i To register for counselling of the PCPNDT course, the candidate will have to log in to the UPDGME official website and enter all the required details in the registration form and create a password. The said password will be used by the candidate at the time of choice lock.

ii After filling out the online registration form, the candidate will have to deposit the registration and security amount through online mode.

iii After depositing the security amount, the candidate will be able to do choice filling from the available options.

iv Allocation of seats to the candidates will be made based on the merit and options selected by him/her according to the priority order of the options.

v It will be mandatory for the candidate to take admission to the allotted seat, otherwise, the security amount deposited by him/her will be confiscated.

vi After allotment to reserved category candidates, if any seat of reserved category remains vacant, then the allotment process will be completed by merging all such seats as per the following table-

vii After allotment of seats reserved for the Medical & Health Department, if any seat remains vacant, then all such seats will be merged as per the above table and allotted to the candidates serving in the Medical & Health Department, however, if any seat remains vacant, then the vacant seat/seats will be allotted to other candidates on the basis of merit cum option.

6 ADMISSION PROCESS

i The allotted candidates will complete the admission process by personally appearing at the allotted college and depositing the prescribed training fee. In no case will the security deposit be adjusted in the training fee.

ii At the time of admission, it will be mandatory for the candidates to submit all the educational records in original to the concerned college.

iii After the admission of the candidate, in the process of verification of any certificate from the competent level, if any record/certificate/information is found to be forged, then the admission of the candidate will be cancelled and legal action will be taken, for which the entire responsibility will be of the candidate himself.

iv Training fee of Rs 20,000/- will be charged to the candidates selected for the PCPNDT course.

7 STIPEND

i No stipend will be payable to the candidates during the training for the PCPNDT course.

8 REGARDING RESIGNATION

i Allotment of a seat to a candidate will not be considered as admission. If a candidate does not take admission to the allotted seat after allotment, the security deposit deposited by him will be forfeited.

ii If a candidate resigns from his/her seat after admission to the PCPNDT course, then the security amount deposited by the candidate and all the training fees will be confiscated. If the security amount has been returned to the candidate, then that too will have to be returned to the candidate.

9 CONSTITUTION OF COUNSELLING BOARD

The counselling for the PCPNDT course will be conducted by the counselling board constituted for the counselling of UP NEET PG-2024.
