WBMCC Releases NEET UG 2024 Round 1 Seat Matrix, check Registration, Choice Filling details

West Bengal- West Bengal Main Computerised Counselling (WBMCC) has released the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) Round 1 Counselling 2024 seat matrix.

Along with this, WBMCC has also released an unser manual regarding the registration and choice filling for the NEET UG round 1 counselling 2024. Through the user manual WBMCC has detailed the registration and choice filling for the candidates for the UG NEET round 1 counselling.

As per the seat matrix, a total of 5246 seats are vacant across 38 institutes of West Bengal.

CANDIDATES USER MANUAL FOR REGISTRATION

NEET-UG 2024 qualified candidates who are willing to participate in WB State Quota, Private Management Quota and NRI Quota Counselling 2024 need to register in the counselling process, submit the application and pay the counselling fee. To register, candidates need to click on the ‘UG Medical and Dental Counselling’ button on the official website of WBMCC. Below are the steps for the registration for the NEET UG round 1 counselling 2024-

STEP 1- Click on the ‘Candidate Registration and Login’ link.

STEP 2- The candidate has to click on ‘New Candidate Registration’ for one-time registration.

STEP 3- The Agreement page appears. Read the conditions on the agreement page carefully and click on ‘I Agree’ to continue with registration.

STEP 4- The candidate has to provide personal information like roll number, application no., candidate’s name, mother’s name and date of birth as per NEET-UG 2024 fill up the proforma/admit card and security pin and click on the “Submit” button.

STEP 5- Enter the password as per the password policy.

STEP 6- Enter either of the valid OTP/or both received via SMS/email in the next form and the security code and click on the ‘Verify & Final Submit’ button.

STEP 7- Click on the ‘Application Form’ link.

STEP 8- Candidate may upload a clear image of the cancelled cheque/bank passbook/online bank statement having account details.

STEP 9- A set of dynamic questions will appear as per the candidate type, caste category, NRI status etc. Select your preference for a physical document verification centre from the available choices. Save & move.

STEP 10- Fill in the class 10+2 passing details.

STEP 11- Enter address and contact details

STEP 12- The application process is now completed and the candidate may proceed for payment of the counselling fee.

STEP 13- Download and print the fee payment receipt.

USER MANUAL FOR CANDIDATE'S SEAT CHOICE FILLING

The NEET-UG 2024 qualified candidates who are already registered, paid the Counselling fee and are successfully verified & allowed to participate in WB State Quota, Private Management Quota, NRI Quota Counselling 2024 can exercise their Choices of Seat and Institution in the Counselling process. Candidates have to select the ‘UG Medical & Dental Counselling’ button on the WBMCC official website to move to the UG Medical and Dental Counselling page. Below are the steps for the choice filling for the NEET UG round 1 counselling 2024-

STEP 1- Click on the ‘Candidate Registration and Login’ link.

STEP 2- Candidate will enter his/her NEET-UG 2024 Roll No., password and the security pin

STEP 3- in the ‘Registered Candidates Sign in’ panel and log into the system.

STEP 4- The ‘Available Choices’ link will display the available seat choices for the institute and branch as per the candidate’s eligibility.

STEP 5- Click on the ‘Choice Filling’ link. The candidate is required to enter the password to start choice filling.

STEP 6- Please select your option and priority for choices carefully, as once allotted the candidate has to accept and admit to the allotted seat

STEP 7- Click on ‘Save and Continue’ to save the added choices and continue to add more. Click on ‘Save and Go to Home’ when done.

STEP 8- Click ‘OK’ to save the filled choices.

STEP 9- Use the links ‘Manage Filled Choices’, ‘Choice Interchange’, ‘Choice Rearrange’, and ‘Multiple Deletion’ to arrange, move and delete the choices, if needed.

STEP 10- For locking the final seat choices, click on ‘Lock Choice’ from the menu

STEP 11- The candidate has to select ‘I agree to lock my choice(s)’ and enter his/her password to lock the selected choices.

STEP 12- Candidate may download and print the locked choices.

Moreover, through a notice, it has been informed that WBMCC is going to arrange a Medical Board for verification and certification of eligibility of PwD candidates of NEET UG (Medical & Dental), NEET PG (Medical& Dental), NEET UG AYUSH & NEET PG AYUSH appearing for All India Quota and State Quota Counseling 2024 from 02 to 06 September 2024 from 10 am till 4 pm. Such certificates will be issued in online mode only as per the prescribed rules of the All India Counseling Authority.
