Chandigarh: As per the directions of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Medical College at Chhainsa in Faridabad will soon be started by the Medical Corps Physicians of the Indian Army.
A team of doctors of Medical Corps headed by Indian Army Brigadier B S Jasrotia met Faridabad Deputy Commissioner Yashpal and discussed about the functioning and arrangements in the medical college.
The team of doctors of Indian Army visited the medical college and reviewed all the preparations.
Brig Jasrotia said that it is very important to start this medical college in view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. All the necessary facilities have been provided by the district administration in the medical college to provide timely treatment to patients. A testing lab will also be set up in the medical college, he added.
