JIPMER invites Research Proposals for Intramural Research Fund, details
Puducherry- Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has invited Research proposals for intramural grant fund from faculty and MD, MS, DM, M.Ch.,MDS, MPH, PhD, Fellowship and M.Sc. students with Faculty as Guides.
As per the circular, it stated “One hard copy date complete proforma oldie Research Proposal (Section 1, 2) with requisite original signature and seal [Section 2 must have original signature and seal) needs to be submitted along with the IEC approval certificate arid PGRMC minutes/DC minutes/J.91-C. PCRMC ralnutes/I)C. nninutesMSAC should include the source of financial support as intramural and the amount of financial support tailing which will not be considered for intramural funding. Students may Toler the Postgraduate Dissertation Guidelines 2020 in this regard_ Section 2 (Budget Details for Intramural Research Grant) of the proforma has been revised. A copy of the Section 2 (IMRF) modified version is available on our IIPMER website so as to fill in and attach the same in the proforma. A soft copy of the full proposal must be emailed.”.
Further, Quotation and comparative statements are not required for submitting an IMEIF proposal. Also, quotation comparative statements and invoices must be submitted to the Finance Wing for settling the hills. All IMRF purchases must follow the JIPMER purchase procedure.
Along with this, requests for extension of existing projects will also be considered for valid and essential reasons_ Faculty Members who apply for extension are required to submit the progress report failing which such request for extension will not be considered, It is mandatory that the research output of earlier grant has to be published and the evidence should be submitted to the Dean (Research) Office when the faculty members apply for the subsequent grant, the circular added.
However, unless a copy of the published paper(s)/submission/acceptance/rejection from the previous grant(s) is attached your application will not be considered for IMRF and incomplete IMRF forms will also be summarily rejected.
Interested candidates must submit applications to the Dean's Office till 15 April 2024 and ensure that the applications are submitted by the respective Guides as direct applications will not be accepted from the students.
