Maharashtra soon to get new GMC in Jalna with 100 MBBS seats, 448 posts approved
Jalna: The Maharashtra government has approved creation of a total of 448 posts for the Government Medical College at Jalna with an intake capacity of 100 students.
As per government decision dated March six approval has been given for creation of these posts.
However, it is subject to approval by the central government and the National Commission for Medical Sciences to establish a new government medical college with 100 student admission capacity and a hospital with 430 patients attached to college at Jalna.

The government has approved creation of a total of 448 posts in four phases for the government medical college at Jalna, consisting of 185 regular posts from group-A to group-C and 59 student posts, as well as 204 manpower services to be taken by external sources, an official press statement stated on Thursday.
