MAMC to Celebrate 65th Annual Day on March 5, Check all details
New Delhi- Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) is soon going to celebrate its 65th Annual Day in the college auditorium. In this regard, MAMC has released a notice detailing the complete schedule of the rehearsals and celebrations.
As per the schedule, rehearsal for the members of the Academic Procession for the 65th Annual Day Celebration will be held on Tuesday 04 March 2025 in the Dean's Board Room. Reporting time is 2:00 PM and will start at 2:30 PM. Meanwhile, the 65th Annual Day of MAMC will be held on March 05, 2025. The reporting time is 2:00 PM, however, the event will start at 3:00 PM. Therefore, all the Heads of the Departments should adhere to the schedule.
Through the notice, MAMC has also informed that on the day of the function, academic robes will be given to all the Heads of Departments and former Heads of Departments in the conference room of the college. After the welcome and robbed, the Chief Guest will be introduced to the members of the academic procession. Following this, the members will go to the auditorium in procession. Further, after the national anthem, the academic procession will be re-formed and will leave the auditorium for refreshments.
Hon'ble Justice DY Chandrachud, former Chief Justice of India will be the Chief Guest at the 65th Annual Day Celebrations and Shri Dharmendra, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Delhi and Dr S B Deepak Kumar, IAS, Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, Government of Delhi will be the Guests of Honour for the function. However, the chief guest is expected to arrive at 2:30 pm.
MAMC has also released the list of awardees who will be felicitated at the event. The list includes a total of 29 candidates who will be honoured with prestigious awards like Dr Madan Gopal Satya Devi Garg Medal, Smt. Mohinder Kaur Memorial Award, Dr. Tulsi Ram Gold Medal, Sota Sahariya Gold Medal, Dr. Hukam Chand Gold Medal etc. Students will be awarded for various categories like best student in Medicine in the final MBBS examination, best student in Pediatrics, best student in Biochemistry, best PG student in Pediatrics, best research work in non-clinical department etc.
