Stressed over academic performance, Kota Medical College MBBS student commits suicide

Suicide
Kota: Stressed over poor academic performance, a final year MBBS student of Kota Medical College allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan with a rope in his hostel room
The police discovered a suicide note at the scene in which the student apologized to his parents for not meeting their expectations. According to the police officials, the medical student was under stress because he couldn't perform as he expected, which is believed to have led him to take this step. He had been living in Kota for the past three years.

Mint has reported that the incident took place on Thursday when the student locked himself in his hostel room and ended his life. His friends who were searching for him, couldn't find him anywhere. Later, they saw the student's room was locked from inside. After breaking the door, they found him hanging and immediately informed the hostel and college administration.
The management then informed the police who reached the spot and sent the student's dead body for a postmortem. During the preliminary investigation, they found the suicide note in his room.
Later, his parents were informed and the police handed over his body to his parents. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
Medical Dialogues had previously reported that an 18-year-old NEET aspirant from Swai Madhopur district allegedly committed suicide. The aspirant hung himself in his PG room early Tuesday. The youth, Ankush Meena, did not leave behind any message. Police, however, surmised he killed himself over a love affair.
