Submission of PG protocols: JIPMER issues reminder for medicos
Puducherry: Through a recent notice, JIPMER has issued a reminder for medicos with respect to the Submission of PG protocols to the Dean (Research) office.
The PGs students who have joined the July 2020 session of PG courses have to submit their protocol along with the minutes and the approval certificate of the respective Departmental PG Research Monitoring Committee (PGRMC) to the office of the Dean (Research).
The last date for submission of the same is 31st December 2020.
A fine of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand only) will be levied for late submission up to 11th January 2021.

JIPMER can trace its origins to the 'Ecole de Medicine de Pondicherry' established by the French Government in 1823. In 1956 foundation for new medical college was laid and in 1964, the hospital was inaugurated. JIPMER became an institution of national importance under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India in the year 2008. Conceptual plans for Puducherry second campus for Institute of organ transplantation and Institute of advanced trauma and rehabilitation were initiated during this period.
