Maharashtra: Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has asked the colleges to submit online & offline applications for the opening of new colleges/starting of new postgraduate courses/increase in intake capacity in health sciences for undergraduate and postgraduate courses from the academic year 2024-25.

The colleges will have to apply online as well as offline to the University. For online submission of the proposal, the link “My Application” is provided on the MUHS website with requisite fees. The fees should be paid as NEFT / RTGS / University E-payment Gateway before the last day of October 2023. The link for submitting an online application will be inoperative automatically after 23:59 hrs on the last day of October.

For convenience, a demo of “how to apply online” is given on the MUHS website. Institutions are requested to submit applications in both ways, i.e., online and offline. The institutes need to use the link https://automation.muhs.ac.in for online application.

For offline submission of proposals, applications available on the website are to be filled in duplicate and submitted in separate two-box file in the inward department of the University headquarter. The proposal should be submitted complete in all respect, along with the documents of land, hospital registration documents and college building, infrastructure facilities, list of teaching and non-teaching staff etc., in separate two-box files with flagging as mentioned in the checklist. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected, and the Proposals received after 31st October 2023 will not be accepted.

Institutions that are applying for opening of new colleges/ starting of new postgraduate courses/ increase in intake capacity but could not obtain an essentiality certificate / any objection certificate/government resolution (as applicable) from the Maharashtra Government for the academic year 2024-25 should apply every year for revalidation of the proposal by paying revalidation fees as prescribed in affiliation fees notification.
