RGUHS Issues Clarification on Exam Schedule For Super Specialty courses 2020-21 Batch
Karnataka: Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) has clarified the exam schedule for Super Specialty courses of the 2020-21 batch.
As per the calendar of events of admissions of Super Specialty courses of the 2020-21 batch, the Super Specialty examinations are tentatively scheduled to be held in December 2023. The detailed fee notification and timetable will be notified in due course.
The Directors (Deans/Principals of the concerned colleges are now informed to notify this on the notice board of their colleges for information of the students concerned.
Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, a premier Health Science University in India, was established on 1st June 1996 in Bangalore by the Govt. of Karnataka through its enactment of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka Act 1994 to encompass all the existing health science colleges and institutions which were earlier affiliated to the conventional universities in Karnataka with a purpose of ensuring proper and systematic instruction, teaching, training and research in modern and Indians systems of medicine. It has the vision to bring uniformity in the standards of teaching and have a common curriculum for the various courses offered in different colleges across Karnataka. The medium of instruction is only English.

Recently, the Medical Dialogues team reported that n a significant announcement, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai declared that the state-run Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) would be renamed after former chief minister Kengal Hanumanthiah. RGUHS- which controls all the medical colleges in the state, is reported to get a new name after one of the key contributors to the construction of Vidhan Soudha, Kengal Hanumanthiah.
