NBE gives Final opportunity for FMGE Qualified Candidates to Collect Passing Certificates, check deadline
New Delhi- Candidates who have appeared and declared qualified in the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) conducted by the National Board of Medical Sciences Examination (NBEMS) are advised to collect their FMGE pass certificate from NBEMS by 30th August 2024. This is the last opportunity given by NBEMS to the qualified candidates to collect their FMGE pass certificate.
Earlier, all the qualified candidates of FMGE conducted upto the June 2023 session, who were declared qualified but who had not collected their FMGE pass certificates from NBEMS, were given the last opportunity to collect the certificates till February 28, 2024.
However, it is been observed that some of the candidates still failed to receive their FMGE pass certificate even by February 28, 2024. As a result, the candidature of all such candidates was cancelled by NBEMS for the respective FMGE qualified. Subsequently, some candidates represented before NBEMS to be given another opportunity to collect their FMGE pass certificates, the official notice by NBEMS in this regard stated.
Accordingly, all such FMGE-qualified candidates who have failed to collect their FMGE passing certificates on February 28, 2024, are being given another opportunity to collect their FMGE certificates by August 30, 2024. However, if the FMGE-qualified candidate still not collect their FMGE pass certificate even by August 30, 2024, it will be assumed that the candidate does not possess the required documents to fulfil the eligibility and hence, their candidature for the said FMGE qualification will rather continue to remain cancelled/stand cancelled. With this, no further opportunity will be given to claim the FMGE pass certificate.
Moreover, as per the notice, the last date for collecting the FMGE pass certificate for the December 2023 session has also been extended from August 6, 2024, to August 30, 2024.
Meanwhile, to collect the FMGE pass certificate, such qualified and eligible candidates have to make a prior appointment from NBEMS to collect their FMGE passing certificate by sending a request on the Communication Web Portal (CWP) of NBEMS. After scheduling the appointment, such candidates are required to be present at the NBEMS Office, New Delhi as per their scheduled appointment to collect their passing certificate.
Along with this, to collect the certificate, the candidates will also have to bring certain documents which will be informed at the time of scheduling the appointment. However, the FMGE pass certificate will only be issued only after the submission of prescribed documents and verification of identity including biometrics/face ID, as applicable. Further, it is also to be noted that under no circumstances will the passing certificate be issued to any authorised representative or to any person other than the candidate.
