NEET PG 2025: NBE warns candidates against fake notices being circulated on social media

New Delhi- The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued a notice for the candidates to be cautioned regarding the Spoofed Notices, Emails, SMS and Social media contents in the name of NBEMS regarding the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025.
Through the notice, NBEMS has instructed the candidates to refer to any information about examinations conducted by NBEMS only through official website links, i.e. NatBoard and NBE or the official WhatsApp channel, which is also mentioned by NBEMS in the notice. However, there is only one NBE WhatsApp channel and apart from this, there are no other official handles/channels of NBEMS on any social media platform.
The notice also further informed that all the NBEMS notices issued from July 2020 onwards bear a QR code. Through the scanner, the QR code will redirect the user to the said Notice on the NBEMS official website.
Meanwhile, it is to be noted that the Unscrupulous agents/touts may make false and bogus claims to the candidates using spoofed notices, emails, SMS or content on social media in the name of NBEMS for phishing. Therefore, through the notice, NBEMS has also instructed the candidates not to be allured or mislead by unscrupulous agents / touts making false and bogus claims of helping any candidate in any means by such spoofed emails / SMS or forged documents or social media.
In addition, NBEMS does not send any email or SMS to candidates regarding securing good marks in any of the exams conducted by NBEMS. If any email / SMS/message on social media is received or circulated in the name of NBEMS, candidates are advised to cross-verify the information from the official website of NBEMS.
In case any candidate is approached by any unscrupulous agents/touts promising any such undue favor / promising to provide question papers for NBEMS examinations through any spoofed emails/SMS or telephone call or forged documents or personally or through social media, the same may be reported to NBEMS via Email and/or to the local police for further investigation.
