NMC reopens portal for medical colleges to submit details of Super Speciality admissions
New Delhi: The National Medical Commission (NMC) portal for filling up the new admission related information for the Super Speciality courses has been reopened once again.
NMC Postgraduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB) has reopened the portal from March 17 to March 21, 2023 as it took note of the special mop up round conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee.
Referring to this, the Commission mentioned in the Public Notice, "After completion of the special mop up round conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee for filling up the vacant seats of Super Speciality courses, new candidates have been admitted in various medical colleges throughout India."
"Subsequently all Medical Colleges/Institutes in India are hereby informed that the online portal for filling up the details of candidates who took admission in PG Super Speciality courses shall be reopened from 17th to 21st March, 2023," further mentioned the notice.
NMC also mentioned that the portal shall also be open for Broad Speciality courses for those colleges which could not fill up the admission data previously due to technical problem or any other reason.

"All are requested to fill in the requisite data in the stipulated time. No physical/manual data will be accepted whatsoever is the reason," the Commission added in the notice.
Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that in an attempt to ensure that all Postgraduate medical admissions have been done in accordance with the provisions of relevant rules and regulations, the Postgraduate Medical Education Bard (PGMEB) of the National Medical Commission (NMC) had directed all the medical colleges/ institutes for submitting details of all the students admitted to PG (Broad & Super-specialty) courses during the academic year 2022-2023.
NMC had directed the colleges to submit the data regarding PG Broad Speciaty courses within December 9, 2022 and in case of Super Specialty Courses, the deadline had been fixed as December 24, 2022.
Later Medical Counselling Committee had announced conducting a special stray vacancy round for the vacant PG (MD/MS/Diploma) seats and for this the portal had been reopened from January 13 to January 17.
Again, NMC reopened the portal from March 3 to March 7, 2023 for filling up the information related to the Postgraduate medical admissions for the special mop up round.
