AIIMS Declares 1st Round Seat Allotment for BSc Nursing hons Course 2024

AIIMS Declares 1st Round Seat Allotment for BSc Nursing hons Course 2024

New Delhi- All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the seat allotment results for B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Course 2024 Session 1st Round for admission to AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS across India.

The seat allotment for B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Course 2024 Sessions are available in 18 AIIMS across India namely AIIMS New Delhi, Bathinda, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Bilaspur, Bibinagar, Deogarh, Gorakhpur, Guwahati, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kalyani, Nagpur, Mangalagiri, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh and Raebareli.

The 1st Round of seat allocation for B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing Courses at AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS across India have been done on the basis of choices made by eligible candidates from 11.00 am, 05 July 2024 to 5.00 pm, 09 July 2024.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1 This list of seat allotments includes all candidates who were eligible for the 1st Round of Seat Allocation.

2 Based on the certificates (OBC/EWS) uploaded by the candidates, the preliminary verification of the validity of certificates has been done. Accordingly, candidates who had uploaded valid certificates (OBC/EWS) have been considered in the claimed category and candidates who did not upload valid certificates or uploaded invalid certificates (OBC/EWS) have been considered as UR subject to the cut-off rank of UR merit list.

3 Candidates who did not participate in the 1st Round of Seat Allocation are NOT ELIGIBLE for the 2nd Round of Seat Allocation but can participate in the Open Round of Seat Allocation (if any).

4 For the 2nd round, the order of the Seat Allocation process will be based on the merit order used for the 1st Round with no further change on choices obtained before the 1st Round of Seat Allocation.

5 Medical Examination & other admission formalities only for AIIMS New Delhi allotted candidates will be done on 19 July 2024 at Academic Section, AIIMS New Delhi at sharp 09.00 A.M. All Candidates are advised to bring the prescribed Fee. The fee is to be paid by Card/Cash immediately after you have been declared Medically Fit by the Medical Board. It should also be noted that if in the assessment of the Medical Board, found medically unfit to be admitted to this course then the candidate will not be admitted and the decision of the Medical Board will be the final.

PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED BY CANDIDATES WHO HAVE BEEN ALLOTTED B.SC (HONS.) NURSING SEAT IN THE 1st ROUND OF SEAT ALLOCATION

All candidates who have been allotted a seat at any AIIMS in the 1st Round of Seat Allocation are required to log through the online seat allocation portal by visiting the AIIMS official website and actively exercise one of the following options by 5.00 PM on 18th July 2024. Failure to select any of the options as below will lead to the Cancellation of the allocated AIIMS and the candidate will become ineligible to participate in the 2nd Round.

OPTION 1- ACCEPT allotted Seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds of Seat Allocation.

OPTION 2- ACCEPT allotted Seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of Seat Allocation.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR EACH OPTION IS AS FOLLOWS

OPTION 1- If the Option of ACCEPT allotted Seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds of Seat Allocation is selected then-

i The candidate will have to report at respective AIIMS by 5.00 PM on 18th July 2024 with the Offer Letter, Seat Allocation Letter/Slip from the online Portal and deposit original certificates OR a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1 Lakh only in the name of AIIMS MAIN GRANT along with photocopies of certificates. The DD will be refunded only when the original certificates are deposited.

ii It must be noted that by exercising this choice the candidate is OPTING NOT TO PARTICIPATE IN FURTHER ROUNDS OF SEAT ALLOCATION.

iii If original certificates are not deposited at the time of joining, these will have to be submitted by the time specified by the 18th of July 2024 at respective AIIMS, otherwise admission will be cancelled, the deposited money will be forfeited, and the candidate will not be eligible for any further participation in Seat Allocation. In the event of a candidate who has exercised this option but does not report in person by 5.00 PM on 18th July 2024, the admission will stand cancelled and he/she shall become ineligible for participating in all further rounds of Seat Allocation. No further correspondence shall be entertained in this regard. However, these candidates can participate in the Open Round of Seat Allocation.

OPTION 2- If the option of “ACCEPT allotted Seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of Seat Allocation” is selected then-

i The candidate will have to report to the respective AIIMS on or before 5.00 PM, 18th July 2024 with the Offer Letter and deposit original certificates OR a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1 Lakh only in the name of AIIMS MAIN GRANT along with photocopies of certificates. The DD will be refunded only when original certificates are deposited for joining a seat in any round of seat allocation.

ii In the event of a candidate who has exercised this option but does not report in person by 5.00 PM on 18th July 2024, the admission will stand cancelled and he/she shall become ineligible for participating in all further rounds of Seat Allocation.

iii The candidate will be eligible for the 2nd round of Seat Allocation.

iv If in the 2nd Round of seat allocation, a candidate who has chosen option 2 is allocated another seat as per choice made, then the candidate will have to accept the seat allocated in the 2nd Round and the seat allocated in the 1st will be released automatically. Such candidates cannot retain the seat allotted in the 1st Round and failure to join the seat allocated in the 2nd Round shall lead to the imposition of a penalty of Rs. 1 lakh.

POLICY REGARDING THE DEPOSITING OF DOCUMENTS/CERTIFICATES/DD

The claim to the allotted seat by candidates is subject to verification of original documents for eligibility as applicable as well as identity verification of the candidate. If a candidate fails to submit all required certificates (original or photocopies with DD) their candidature will stand cancelled, the seat offered in the 1st Round will be vacated for the next Round and she will not be allowed to participate in the 2nd Round of the seat allocation process. However, the candidate will be eligible for the Open Round of Seat Allocation (if any).

LIST OF DOCUMENTS/CERTIFICATES THAT ARE REQUIRED TO BE DEPOSITED IN ORIGINAL/DD (ONE LAKH) ALONG WITH ONE SET OF SELF-ATTESTED PHOTOCOPY AS APPLICABLE

i Offer Letter.

ii Seat allocation letter.

iii Final Registration Slip.

iv Admit Card issued by AIIMS.

v 10th passing/ Birth Certificate showing his/her date of birth.

vi Self-attested copy of the certificate in proof of passing the 12th class under 10+2 Scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination/Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board.

vii Self-attested copy of certificate from the Board showing his/her date of birth.

viii) Self-attested copy of mark-sheet of the qualifying examination i.e. 12th class under 10+2 Scheme/Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination in proof of having secured 50% or more marks (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

ix The Candidate should also bring SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificate, if applicable.
