Pre-Seat Allocation Process At AIIMS Begins For MSc Courses August 2023 Session, Check out Details
Delhi: Pre-seat allocation at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has begun today (14.7.2023) for MSc Courses -August 2023 Session. The detailed information brochure for the online seat allocation process has been released.

The link for the portal will be activated for eligible candidates on “My Page,” accessible by login using the credentials that have been used for filling Final Registration form and other processes related to MSc Courses Entrance Examination for the 2023 session in www.aiimsexams.ac.in.
For any query regarding the online Seat allocation process, kindly send an email from your registered email id only to the Assistant Controller of Examination, AIIMS, New Delhi-110608 only on aiims.msccounselling@gmail.com along with Name, Roll Number, Registration ID, and other particular of the seat allocation.
There will not be any fee for Online Seat Allocation (AIIMS & subject/specialty) Process in this session.
Eligibility
The online seat allocation process will be done for the following MSc courses -
1. Medical Anatomy
2. Medical Biochemistry
3. Medical Physiology
4. Medical Pharmacology
The allocation of seats for other MSc courses and M Biotechnology courses will be done separately.
All the candidates listed in the Result Notification No. 98/2023 dated 28.06.2023 will be eligible to participate in the 1st Round of the Online Seat Allocation, and participation is subject to information & rules prescribed in the said result notification regarding eligibility. Document verification will not be done during the online seat allocation process. However, the eligibility status of the OBC (NCL)/EWS category candidate will be sent to their registered Email ID before the declaration of the result.
Procedure -
The eligible candidates must log in to their My Page for MSc Courses Online Seat Allocation. The link for the portal will be activated for eligible candidates in the My Page accessible by clicking the Online Seat Allocation link; after login, the eligible candidates will be directed to the Online Seat Allocation portal, where the candidates will have to Register online seat allocation and set new passwords. This password is required to access the Online Seat Allocation portal.
The MSc Courses Online Seat Allocation portal will allow candidates to make choices of seats (a combination of AIIMS and subject/specialty) and arrange them in the desired order. The candidates can make any number of choices, can edit the choices, and reorder the choices within the date and time specified in the Important Dates link in the Portal.
On clicking the link, the eligible candidates will be directed to the online M. Sc CoursesSeat allocation process, where the candidates will have to log in for online Seat allocation by clicking the Online Seat Allocation link after login, the eligible candidates will be directed to Online Seat Allocation portal where the candidates will have to Register for online Seat Allocation and set a new password. This password is required to access the Online Seat Allocation portal.
The Portal will be opened for dates specified in the Important Dates link in the Portal. The choices made by the candidate will be locked either by the candidate OR automatically on the last Date and Time specified in the Important Dates link in the Portal.
The seat allocation will be done in order of merit and according to choices made by the candidates as described in point no 2. The order of seat allocation will be UR/ST/SC/OBC/EWS as per the prospectus. When a reserved candidate who is in the combined merit list is being allocated a seat, a higher preference seat, if available in the concerned reserved category, will automatically be allocated. If a subject is allocated as per choice by such a candidate is simultaneously available both in the unreserved and reserved category at the time of allocation of his/her rank, then the unreserved seat will be allocated. The allocation of seats in the reserved category will be done only after the allocation of seats in the unreserved category.
The seat allocation in the 1st Round will be done as per the schedule specified in the Important Dates link.
All the candidates who have been allocated seats in the 1st Round are required to login to their MyPage and actively choose one of the following options within the date and time specified in the Important Dates link:
Option 1. ACCEPT allotted seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds of Seat Allocation
Option 2. ACCEPT allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of Seat Allocation
[if You choose option-2 and participate in the next round and you are allocated another seat as per your choice in the next round, then you will have to join the seat allocated during the next round and vacate the previously allocated seat. The vacated seat shall be automatically allocated to other candidates in order of merit. Failure to join the upgraded seat in the next round of seat allocation shall lead to impositions of the penalty of Rs. 1.00 Lakh if you do not join the upgraded seat.]
Options to REFUSE the allocated seats are not available. Therefore, the candidates are requested to fill the choices carefully and responsibly in the choice-filling stage. The candidate himself/herself shall be responsible for their choices.
Failure to log in and select an option after seat allocation within the date and time specified in the Important Dates link will lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat and render you ineligible for 2nd round.
All the candidates who are allocated seats are mandatorily required(irrespective of whether they choose Option 1 and 2 as mentioned in point no. 6) to report in-person (for reporting and/or joining) to allocated AIIMSfor reporting and joining within the date and times specified in the Important Dates link. The candidates are required to deposit original certificates/Demand Draft of Rs. 1.00 Lakh as specified in the result notification of the seat allocation of the 1st Round of online seat allocation at the time of reporting.
Candidates availing constitutional reservation in the 1st Round must show valid proof of their claim for a reserved seat at allocated AIIMS when they are depositing original certificates/Demand Draft of Rupees 1.00 Lakhs. In case they do not possess a valid certificate, then their claim for the reserved seat allocated in 1st Round will be nullified, and they will be eligible to appear in the 2nd Round as UR candidate subject to cut off in the UR merit list provided they deposit the original certificates/Demand Draft at the allocated AIIMS. The OBC/EWS certificate must be valid for admission to Central Govt. Institution. The validity of OBC/EWS certification shall be as per Prospectus and Result Notification No.98/2023 dated 28.06.2023.
1. OBC (NCL) Category Issue Date 18.06.2022 to 17.06.2023 (Both dates inclusive)
2. EWS Category Issue Date 01.04.2023 to 17.06.2023 (Both dates inclusive)
Candidates availing PWBD horizontal reservation in the 1st Round must show valid proof of their claim for a reserved seat at allocated AIIMS when they are depositing original certificates/Demand Draft of Rupees 1.00 Lakhs. In case they do not possess a valid certificate, then their claim for the reserved seat allocated in 1st Round will be nullified, and they will be eligible to appear in the 2nd Round as UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS candidates in their respective category as applicable without PWBD reservation provided they have deposited the original certificates/Demand Draft at the allocated AIIMS& is subject to cut off in respective category.
All disputes pertaining to the conduct of the examination by AIIMS and Online Seat Allocation will be subject to the jurisdiction of the High Court of Delhi only.
The 2nd round will be initiated after the completion of 1st round. Exercising of Choices will not be opened for the 2nd Round of Seat allocation, and Choices selected in choice filling Round will be considered for 2nd Round.
Further important instructions regarding admission and reporting will also be published along with the results of Seat Allocation of the respective round. All candidates must keep visiting www.aiimsexams.ac.in for the latest update.
Pre-Seat Allocation –
1. Link for online MSc Courses Seat Allocation will be available on the My Page. (Exercising of Choices is a one-time exercise before Seat allocation of 1st Round thereafter same filled choices will be considered for all subsequent rounds).
2. Login and Make Choices (AIIMS and subject/specialty) for all rounds.
3. Submit and Lock Choices
1st Round –
1. Announcement of the allocated seat for 1st Round
2. Online acceptance of allocated seat
3. Submission of Documents/DD at allotted AIIMS
Making choices -
The choices can only be made after you have logged in using the login credentials. On logging in, confirm your name and Registration ID. Click on the Make the Choice button to proceed to exercise choices (AIIMS and subject/specialty) and their order. To add a choice, choose the AIIMS and the subject/specialty from the two separate drop-down menus and Click Add choice. To remove a choice, click on the Delete button against that Choice (AIIMS and subject/specialty). Click on the Save button to save the choices of AIIMS and subject/specialty and their order.
The default order of your choices (AIIMS and subject/specialty) will be the order in which you add choices (AIIMS and subject/specialty). To reorder your choices, use up and down arrows OR Drag and Drop the choice (AIIMS and subject/specialty) to the appropriate position in the list.
Candidates can make choices (AIIMS and subject/specialty), edit or reorder them as many times they wish UNLESS they have already submitted and locked the choices (AIIMS and subject/specialty) OR last date and time. The candidate must save the choices (AIIMS and subject/speciality) in case they wish to add/delete/reorder them at a later time point (before the last date and time).
Submitting and locking choices -
The candidate should click on the Submit and Lock Choices tab and tick the checkbox I accept the declaration and click on the submit and Lock choices (AIIMS and subject/specialty). Note that you will be prompted twice to reconsider, and after you have submitted and locked your choices (AIIMS and subject/specialty), you cannot change it for any Round.
In case the candidate has made and saved choices but could not submit and Lock choices, the last saved choices (AIIMS and subject/specialty) and their order will be automatically considered as submitted and locked choices (AIIMS and subject/specialty).
Viewing and printing the choices after submission -
The candidate can view the choices submitted and locked by them by clicking on the View choices button after logging in to the online M. Sc Courses Seat allocation portal. Click the Print button to take a printout.
