Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College reduces BDS fee for Management quota by Rs 2 lakh, details
Puducherry: Sri Venkateswaraa Dental College, a institution recognized by the Dental Council of India and affiliated with Pondicherry University, has recently taken a significant step. In a letter addressed to the Convener of CENTAC (Government of Puducherry), the college's management has announced a reduction in fees for students seeking admission to the BDS program under the Management Quota during the academic year 2023-24.
Previously set at Rs 6.50 lakhs, the fees for BDS students have been substantially reduced to Rs 4.50 lakhs for this academic year. This fee reduction is a one-time measure specifically applicable to students enrolling in the 2023-24 academic year.
The decision to reduce fees reflects the college's commitment to providing affordable and quality dental education to students in the region. It aims to alleviate the financial burden on prospective BDS students, making dental education more accessible.
Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College urged CENTAC to update this revised fee structure on its official website, ensuring that aspiring students are aware of the reduced fees for the academic year.
Prospective students interested in BDS admissions for the 2023-24 academic year are encouraged to visit the CENTAC website for further details and updates regarding the revised fee structure.
The college's initiative to reduce fees is a significant step toward promoting dental education and fostering the growth of future dental practitioners in the region, ultimately contributing to the enhancement of oral healthcare services.
