25-year-old doctor succumbs to injuries days after road accident

29-Year-Old Doctor Dies Under Mysterious Circumstances
Sullia: In a tragic incident, a 25-year-old doctor from Kallugundi passed away on Thursday after battling for his life for several days at a private hospital in Mangaluru. He had sustained critical injuries in a road accident.
The accident took place earlier this week near Sonangeri when the doctor’s bike collided with a KSRTC bus.

According to Daiji World, he was rushed to a private hospital in Mangaluru, where he was being treated for severe leg injuries. Despite undergoing surgery, his condition worsened, and he succumbed to his injuries.
The Doctor was serving as a physician at the Namma Clinic in Duggalladka and was reportedly returning home from work at the time of the accident.
This incident marks the second fatal road accident involving a young medical professional in the region within a month, raising concerns about the increasing number of road accidents.

Medical Dialogues had previously reported that in a tragic incident, a 29-year-old physiotherapist posted at a private medical college hospital lost his life in a road accident after the car he was driving lost control and skidded on the rain-soaked road near Taretota in Nanthoor. According to the police, the doctor was driving the car at high speed and due to the slippery road soaked with rain, the doctor lost control of his car, skidded, hit the divider, and overturned two to three times. The deceased has been identified as Dr Mohammad Amal, a native of Alappuzha, Kerala. He had recently completed his physiotherapy degree and had joined a private medical college hospital in Deralakatte.
